- Henry: @Kharrison67 $CDW If you draw it slightly differently it hasn't broken out yet. I'm not saying my way is the only way to draw it. I'm saying go find a weekly squeeze ready to break out, like bRobert sez. That's a more promising pattern.

- shoredriver: @issues $PRSP $GLOB $EPAM $CDW $SPNS $VRTU $UIS ...Why would you buy all?
- issues: @AlexH $PRSP yes it's in the same industry (IBD) group as these: $GLOB $EPAM $CDW $SPNS $PRSP $VRTU & $UIS. NP yet. But looking at UIS & PRFT. PRSP is IBD composite 76 (out of 100) - accumulation A- (good!) CDW is on the IBD 50 this week but it's down from (accumulation) A- (last week) to B this week. Because of the pull backs (not at the top) I like $CDW $PRSP and $SPNS. BUT I see earnings for PRSP on 11/13 - this Wed. Looking at past earnings I see .54 in June dropping to .52 in Aug. I also see it drops routinely to the 50 day $26 or the 200 day $23. So we will wait on PRSP. CDW earnings 11/22. So we will buy starter positions in $CDW and $SPNS Mon.

- issues: From IBD: VanEck Vectors Semiconductor ETF ($SMH) was mostly flat, thanks to a strong move by Taiwan Semiconductor (TSM). Shares jumped 2.5% to 46.13, good for a breakout over a 44.98 buy point. TSM stock is the heaviest-weighted stock in SMH at 12.4%. Innovator IBD 50 ETF ($FFTY) was mostly unchanged, buoyed by strength in Globant ($GLOB) and $CDW (CDW), which showed gains of more than 1%. Other top gainers in the IBD 50 index of leading growth stocks included real estate investment trusts Innovative Industrial Properties (IIPR) and Store Capital (STOR). Stock Market Movers In other stock market news, homebuilders outperformed, led by LGI Homes ($LGIH) and Century Communities ($CCS). But KB Home ($KBH) fell 1% after reporting earnings late Wednesday. IBD's homebuilding group has been one of the top performers year to date, up about 49%, compared to a gain of around 19% for the S&P 500. https://www.investors.com/market-trend/stock-market-today/stock-market-falls-whistleblower-report-huawei-news/

I always read your posts. Thanks for responding. I haven't bought any airlines today. Are you holding any? We booked a trip to HA on AAL and they charged us an extra $100 for sitting together. - Bridget: $CDW I see this as a good low risk buy point to get in this steady uptrending stock. Volume is dropping off on this pullback as the 50MA is rising. Stop below the 50MA. Thinking more long term hold than a swing trade.
- Bridget: Notes: A couple stocks breaking down - $FIZZ, $FIT, $DKS, $FIVE, $AMGN $LN - holding up well $CLR - bullish candle $ELLI - working $CAG - big move after earnings $OAS - breaking out on volume $EZPW - break out on volume $PI - ipo, new high $CDW - at a low risk buy point, long term hold $RIG - break out of the downtrend, bottom is in $NXST - gap and run on volume
- Bridget: $CDW great example of a short set up. Break of the channel on 4/25, then the stock recovers slightly before falling back down to the previous low and then a fast sell off.
- Bridget: $CDW pretty big drop on just a downgrade. Any other news you know of?
- issues: @Bridget $CDW earnings are on 5/4. We hold a small position and will hold through earnings. This downgrade is an opportunity to add prior to earnings but we are just watching for now.
- Bridget: @issues $CDW I don't know much about the company but a gap down on volume that closes below the open is typically never a good place to add. I haven't placed a trade one way or the other yet, just watching for now. But this looks to me like the set-up of a rather bearish move. best of luck to you.
- issues: The IBD 50 sure changed dramatically this week. There are 25 new stocks replacing 25 from last weeks.
