- kenb: $DASH falling 3% to test the 8d, which has been support during its 2 month rise. Looking for a bounce.
- kenb: $DASH moving up the 8d towards a new ATH reached in Nov 2021. Now very extended and above the upper 20,2 bollinger bands. Holding a nice size position from mid-May when it broke out over the $200 level. If you look at the monthly price chart, it has been in a very large and deep cup and handle since its IPO and recently broke out above that.

- kenb: $DASH breaking $200 round number resistance again. If it can hold and close above, I might add to position Monday depending on market conditions. Trying to let it prove itself and not add on a Friday, also because it can't seem to stay above that level.
- kenb: $DASH DoorDash, Inc. announced today that it has changed the date and time of the release of its first quarter 2025 financial results and related earnings conference call. The company will now report its earnings for the first quarter 2025 on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, prior to market open, and host a conference call at 5 a.m. PT / 8 a.m. ET the same day. The company previously planned to release its financial results after the U.S. financial markets closed on Wednesday, May 7, 2025 , with a conference call to follow at 2 p.m. PT / 5 p.m. ET the same day. I'm not sure if this is good or bad, and holding position through earnings since I have a nice cushion. We shall see.

- StockMarketMentor: $HOOD is rebounding off the 50-day moving average after a high volume bottom on twice average volume. If you're looking at this, my suggested stop would be just below today's intraday low. Basis: 49.50 Suggested Stop: 46.50 $DAVE is also rebounding this morning. If you're considering this one, you can either keep it tight, with a stop around $99. Or, you can use yesterday's low as a reference for a stop, at around 91.90. Basis: 105.75 Stop: $99 and/or 91.90 $DASH-- rebounding off $190. Basis 199.23 Suggested stop area: $189ish. Note that all of these have some significant overhead resistance. As such, you want to be looking for more modest gains if they work. Be biased towards closing the positions at the first sign of weakness. --Dan

$DASH -- This looked decent yesterday, but the bid didn't hold. The way I see it, an 8-day EMA that's dropping is something worth paying attention to. This has been a barn burner. Don't hold it too long.

$DUOL -- pret ... - Bert953: @djgustoso $AAPL I've not been in this for awhile so I've been wrong. Its up nicely from below the 8&50dMA's in November. Chalkin money flow is up at the very top of the range so it looks like lots of money is still coming into this stock. On the other hand going thru the ATL, $COIN, $DASH, $GS, $IBIT all have severely negative Chalkin moneyflows. Of course its only an indicator, not a guarantee but info to take into consideration.
- StockMarketMentor: I'm dashing off a quick note on DoorDash ($DASH) (pun intended. Not very funny...but still...) The stock is trading at a bit lower than average volume today, though I don't think that's necessarily a bad thing. As I see it, the 8-day EMA is drifting sideways and those triangles I mentioned last Friday are really pinching. The stock looks ready to start another move higher. The current suggested stop on the position is 173.60. This might be an opportunity to take a position with a very tight stop (just below yesterday's intraday low). You're in on a very low risk trade. You'll either take a small loss if the squeeze continues, or you'll be early on the next leg higher. Just a thought. --Dan

- StockMarketMentor: Time to take profits on Door Dash ($DASH)? The stock is now trickling below the 8-day EMA for the second day in a row. While the uptrend remains largely intact, this has been a great trade for us and it's prudent to at least take some profits. Depending on your trading style, you can take some or all of the trade off the table. Your choice. I'll leave it on the list for a while, albeit with a tighter stop at 173.60, which is just below the 20-day moving average. Again, the uptrend is still intact. CNBC is already talking about what they do in November and December. And, of course, Cramer prognosticated earlier today that a 50 bps cut would be great for tech. Looks extended, but then you can say that about a lot of stocks in this market.
