- Bert953: #MrMarket looks like a crap and go. Indices opened down but have recaptured yesterday's closing print, except for the $IWM, which gained, but then died again. Maybe a not so dead cat bounce on options expiration Friday. Lets see how she closes. I'm reluctant to put new positions on after the wiggles and jiggles of this week as a result of Orange Swan events (gotta love that analogy) and now a banking misstep. I did however place a bunch of alerts so my phone may be pinging me all day. We'll see! Interesting times indeed!

I think it's notable that not only is the market surprisingly strong for September but we’re seeing $IWM also trend higher. The 8/21 EMAs have been acting as support and buy spots for most of the trend and the dips have been rewarding. That&rs ... - DavidK: $IWM- markets being held up on what ? Promise of lower rates . I bought puts on$IWM yesterday to protect a few longs ( $QXO $AQST $$BMRN calls ) jobs report has to mean something to markets . Price levels of all markets should more than reflect any hope of rate cuts . Seen this movie before . Wake up one day and down 2-4 %

I don't think you are early, since a lot of support at the 200dma and 50dma, with some room up to the 8dema... and TNA is the best performer of the indexes today. For all the indexes, getting back above their 8dema's is an important level to keep buyers coming back in. So far all 4 indexes are staying pretty healthy, working back higher. Of the 4 indexes, the only one I don't currently have a position is $UDOW, since it's now pretty stuck in the mud below the 8dema.

- TraderGeekSam: $SPY $QQQ $DIA $IWM unofficially, for the week, the S&P 500 fell 2.36%, the Nasdaq declined 2.17%, the Dow fell 2.92%, and IWM dropped 4.22%, erasing all of last week's gains and then some.
