- champ: $DJI $SPY $SSO $SPXL $TQQQ $NAIL .....$VXX $UVIX....a lot of stocks are trying to bounce but it doesn't look like that is going to happen today.....and to be clear......I have NP's in any of these ETF's. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

- champ: $SDS $SQQQ $UVIX $UVXY $VXX.....I'm watching these ETF's and I'm holding $SDS and $UVIX positions for now....however Market-direction on the close is still #Unknown for Now, on all of these ETF's...... ....but the Markets could take a rest...... and Investors could take profits before the elections....... ....a lot of difference ways the Markets could play out before the Elections, at these high Market levels. I'm going into the Elections with Risk-Off and so far I'm only Day-trading these 2-short positions, I'm trailing both.......... and as of Now.....I'm Only swinging 1 long position. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The Markets will be telling me what to do, so I'm just going to follow the Markets and protect my YTD profits.

Day-5 on both of the $UVXY and $VXX, however everyday that goes-by, makes it harder and harder to swing full positions, however you already know that....because you work with ETF's all the time, for all the years that you have been in the forum.

- Bert953: @DavidK $VXX Mr market rolling over or at least showing signs of resting ahead of long weekend. Today, $SPY hit trend line I drew from 3/13/23 low through 8/15/23 daily candle high. Yesterday $DIA printed a bearish engulfing pattern. this occurred at the bottom of the 8/3-8/14 trading range which was support and is now resistance.
- champ: A lot of jumping beans, on the 3rd Friday of the month.....which is Volatility Friday..... .....a lot of Mixed signals going on this morning....... and as we all know or should know, the first Bounce on any Stock or ETF's, most always falls back.... ....now we will see what the Next move does, the guess is, should bounce back-up on the $VXX..$UVXY....because this is the 3rd Friday of the month........ ....and on $ACHR, thats up in the air, have to Watch all the action......because the Shorts are active, they want you to believe that something illegal is going on....... the Bulls vs the Bears....... ....however the longs are $UAL, $BA, the Department of Defense and others. Who's right, the Bulls or the Bears, place your bets.

For now... $UVXY is my only position this morning and it is seems to be stuck at at around $20.30, so far just a little stormy weather.

Here's what I wrote last week: We have about 7-8% to go for SPY and QQQ to get back to 2021 highs. VIX-X moving lower. It has moved below old ~14 support (down to 12.73) the last few weeks. Next level of support below this is around 10-11%, then 8.50 which historically appears to be the absolute low level for VIX. I'm not blowing the whistle to get out of the pool. A low VIX level can last a long time, but just something to keep in the back of the mind while counting your money sitting at the table, which I'm told by Kenny Rogers never to do.

LOL
