- champ: $FANG, now at $138 and this is Day-7, on this move off of almost a 2 year low, which was just at $114. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ However many don't know how to look for stocks, that are turning off of their most recent lows. ....Many stocks in this sector, are starting to turn.
- DavidK: @champ $FANG watched it and couldn’t buy . Got caught up in of economy slows oil stocks down. I got hammered back in 2010 or so timeframe buying and buying oil when it was going down

- DavidK: @champ $FANG $NCLH I have been trading $NCLH albeit not making a boatload just some walking around money . When we got that one big up day I did have 1500 shares of it so made some Prime New York Steak money and as Fred Sanford use say , a bottle of Ripple .
- champ: @DavidK $FANG $NCLH ...still early and we just don't know if these stocks are going to continue....but all new entries start out as a Day-trade and if they work, could take off 1/2 and swing the other 1/2....and then add back and repeat. ..... New entries have to start somewhere and on April 7th, that might have been the low-turn for the year. however we don't know that yet....but everyday, many stocks keep zigzagging a little higher. And it seems like, some don't know what is going on, they think everything is going to go even lower...and they might be right, however for Now, many stocks are starting to zig-zag higher, nicely.

- champ: @lance1161 $LBRT $MS #Oilfield-Service ......On the producers, it all depends on what their Breakeven price is, per each barrel of Oil that they produce and most of them are at belove $30, pb and some are below $25, pb and a few others are even below $20, pb.....so on Drill Baby Drill, the more Oli that they produce, the higher their production numbers climb, per day, and then the larger their profits will climb...... ....so it is all about, them raising their production numbers per Day, and barrels per day = bpd. Good Luck! ....These are a few Long term plays.... $CVX $XOM $FANG, I have been trading these 3 and many others.....plus the N-gas/LNG players....I'm holding $DVN....... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

- champ: @lance1161 $LBRT $MS $CVX $XOM $FANG #Oilfield-Service....Yes exactly and both the U.S. Producers and the Consumers', will be both winners, that's their play.....plus more demand with #Exporting also, will be a big factor, another big deal, for all of the U.S. profits, so everybody in the U.S. will be winners.
- champ: $FANG...is HOD, up nicely off of LOD... but is still dancing around all over the place.
- champ: @Wolf $CVX $XOM $OXY.......and $FANG is also making a #U-turn, and they are on target for around 1,000 new wells completes in just 100 days, their crews are averaging 1 well completed per day, that's got to be new record for fracking.
- champ: $FANG...is still doing that zig-zag dance, off of all of that positive earnings information about their #production-numbers.....because that's the only way that their profits are going to keep climbing, if the Price of Oil falls back....and if it goes up, then that's really positive for $FANG......because they have a huge drilling program that they are currently working on.......... ....#for-Example........ they just completed 575 #new wells in the last 2-months and they are currently working on another 460 more new wells Now...... ....and this is exactly how...... Drill Baby Drill works. these are huge Oil production numbers. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

- champ: @DavidK $FANG $JPM ....That was before they reported their earnings and their Free Cash flow numbers and also before they reported their #new Oil Production numbers........ ....plus they also had a great Acquisition, on 2/18, of a company named Double Eagle, for $4.1 billion, with Cash and shares........with more prime land to add more wells, in the Midland basin..... .....have to check out everything, need to take a look to find out why the stock dropped.

- champ: $FANG....reported an Earnings beat, on #higher-production numbers, per day, (boepd)... on lower cost on Drilling per well, also with #more-wells coming on-line,.......... .....plus they have a share Buy back program on-going...... .....and on their #short-term Drilling program, they have 460 more well to complete and in the last 2-months, they #just-completed 575 wells, so they are moving really fast........ .....need to read what they are reporting, all of this info is easy to read and see. I'm holding a position.
- champ: @billyzeke $CVX ...Nice and I have been trading $FANG and $CVX, might swing at some point, maybe soon....but my guess is, maybe that might happen on Monday..? ...However...the small-cap, Under the Radar type names have been doing really well. .....And I'm waiting to make some more swing decisions.......... and I took Profits on 10 positions today.....because tomorrow is the third Friday of the month, so I'm thinking that the Markets could get some.... or a lot of #Repositioning tomorrow..? .....I wish I knew... but I don't, so I'm on Hold, for one more day, for now. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Energy in general as been a total dog outside of the MLP's. Several of the majors, Chevron for sure, have indicated that they are reducing capex next year.

Because distributions reduce one's basis (they're treated for the most part as return of capital), on sale they are gains, and on top of that there would be significant depreciation recapture, the tax bite on sale would eat away much of any gain. At my age, and with the great tax deferred cash flow, I'm determined to hold $ET (and $EPD) for my estate. At that time, under current tax laws, there would be a step-up in basis and my heirs would be able to sell without tax consequences. That said, I think that it's still a great buy, even today.

- ray: @champ $VNOM #production $VNOM is a good company. Eight ranked analysts (source TipRanks) have an average target price of $38.13. It's a subsidiary of $FANG and announced yesterday that they have filed with the Delaware Secretary of State to convert from a LImited Partnership to a Corporation, which should increase the potential investor universe. I currently have it in a taxable account, but will probably add to an IRA.
