- champ: $GLW...Corning's CEO said this morning, that they raised their Guidance...because of the AI-boom, which is increasing demand for all of their fiber-optic-products...... ....so the bottom line is, this new... huge AI-demand, is just starting and is going too continue...for the long-term. ....Need to check-out this new News....and the CEO was on CNBC this morning, around 90 minutes before the open, so could pull-up that CNBC-video. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

- CdrJake: @DAN $GLW My question is about this daily chart, and how on 2/16 there was a little gap up to 39.16 high, which then backed off , and filled the gap in 2 days, affects whether you think this could just pop back up and above that 39.16 high.. do you think this needs more work in order to do that? Or is this just a phase 2 pullback? I'm fairly bullish on GLW and think a break out above 39.16 could go places. (Interesting the 50 week MA crossing over the 200 week MA here.)
- DAN: @CdrJake $GLW Still in a trading range. That's about all I could say about it. When a stock is in a trading range, there's not much interpretation to be made off individual moves. No, I don't see this as a phase 2 pullback. It's not popping out of any kind of squeeze/consolidation. It's just rangebound. Hope this helps. Dan

I would have chalked it up to just being in the trading range, but there is often a discrepancy in what people write in books about gaps and how some people say they need to be filled in order to then proceed in the direction of the move, whereas I think gaps may only partially fill, or are often NOT filled. This didnt seem like an exhaustion gap, and its sorta near a pivot point... hence my question.
