LECO: This designer, developer, manufacturer, and seller of welding, cutting, and brazing products carries a Zacks Rank #1, has witnessed the Zacks Consensus Estimate for its current year earnings increasing 7.3% over the last 60 days." The fundies suggest that it's fairly priced here based on past results. I would guess that it's considered an infrastructure trade; who knows, perhaps some bill will get passed, and money actually distributed. The divvie yields 1.5 percent. FWIW, competitors listed are $GFF, $TKR, $TTC, $KMT, $SNA, $ROLL and $EML. Hope your day is going well; all the best! P.S. Yeah, it is a nice chart. About 0.84 correlated with the $SPX, so if the broad market heads south, it's likely to follow. Not that we're ever going to pull back ever again, but just theoretically ... :-)

I wouldn't buy it here...but if I owned it, I wouldn't sell it here. Looks to me as if Tuesday's intraday low is solid. I would not keep a stop higher than $95.68 (the last low). But I wouldn't hold it if it starts falling to new lows. That would be just hoping for the stock to turn around. And we don't do "hope" here. 8-) Dan

Seems like water long gone under the bridge especially considering the cyclical nature of materials and industrials. Then again it could be me rationalizing my positions.

- arrow: $CMI - Folks, please take a step back & ask yourselves if the market/stocks are telling you to be bullish or or otherwise. Just listen to these companies: PCX - chapter 11 CEO says coal industry undergoing transformation. $CMI - lowering revenue citing softness in Brazil, China, & India $FAST , $MSM, $KMT, etc. - electrical components seeing weakness, slowing orders $AAP, $ORLY - Auto parts more weakness These have wide ranging impacts across the whole industrial and metals sectors. These align with ECRI data. Are these companies saying anything to warrant bullishness? (If any of these or their collaterally damaged friends' names bounce, is it any more than just a bounce?) Have the analysts priced recession into their forecasts, not that I've seen. At least give that possibility (if not more) some consideration.

- lugnut: Did somebody say "night cap?" A surprise party? Oh I hate missing surprises! Just running though to say "hi" to everybody and glad to hear fires have slowed down @Fitz. Hope everybody is enjoying Mr. Market's wild ride....it's a lesson, I'll say that...I am finding new and improved ways to ride these crazy reversals but there is a lot of work to be done. I was a complete $POT head today.....booked most. Have been doing a lot of $DD with earnings so I can continue what I am at heart.....an investor...building more longs....bought $KMT yesterday....added to $HES and $OXY today. Now I see I have a lot of reading to do! UP ARROWS to all....Luggy
