- crestinjb: $AVT - $SNDK - Was short $AVT 100 shares of this @ 35.71 for a about 2 weeks covered last week @ 35.31.......... Can't seem to see this stuff coming, did the same with $SNDK earlier last week but was really to heavy of a position as I had 500 shares short on 2/15 & covered when it held 51.60 the next trading day on Monday only to see it dive after that the following day, would love to catch some of them moves......could have been siitin pretty about now ?? Oh well another day, another lesson, Thankful for the quick profits on my $SNDK L Trade i closed today =)
- Mike72: Wilder's Parabolic $SAR - I use this on a stock that is in a wide trading range. The stock would need a 10 point range for me to use it. Maybe $AVT is an example of this. The tops and bottoms are a little sloppy but for a longer term hold I think this indicator works.

- mikeinlouisville: Suzie, you are right that the short $STX is fighting the strength and the premarket lack of a big reaction was probably caused by that partially. I have found that normally blow-up news trumps market strength. We shall see through the day. So far this morning it is trading at 19.40 down from my 19.75 entry. Thanks for the feedback. Closed the last of the $AVT blow-up trade from yesterday. It was down .40 on the open and market strength might have lifted it later. Can't let a gift get away.

Before the market opened $AVT guided down pretty big for the quarter and the year. For me that was enough. It closed last night at 32.33. I could short 300 at $29.01. That was down big but it was a 1/4 position. I bottom ticked it of course. Just be ... - bpeter: I ran a VALUE analysis on weekend. FYI... $CRAI is now butting head against 20 SMA n 31.64. (took a big hit 3/10(?)) but has recovered from 23.30 <>; $HIG has broken through 50 SMA but stalling at Resistance just below 76, may break thru. I haven't had chance to look at fundamentals on the few that looked "chart" possibles. Others in the group: $RBC, $BDC, $KSS, $DRQ, TNB, $AVT, $ACE, $WCG, $CVH, TDW.

- yosull: Good Morning...newbie here. I'll toss out 1 name that has caught my eye. NUHC (electronic disti co)is an interesting situation. DB took > 9% position a few months back. The co reported weak numbers this week, the stock pulled back nicely, only to close UP on the day , leaving a nice bullish tail. Bollenger Bands are very tight, so we could see a nice breakout soon. It has not kept up with the group - $AVT and ARW. Thoughts @Dan?
