- woodman: @champ - **** $BGFV #Alert - Champ, I just reread your post. $BGFV reported yesterday amc: Big 5 Sporting (BGFV) reported 3rd Quarter September 2021 earnings of $1.07 per share on revenue of $289.6 million. The consensus earnings estimate was $1.05 per share on revenue of $314.6 million. Revenue fell 5.0% compared to the same quarter a year ago. The company said it expects fourth quarter non-GAAP earnings of $0.55 to $0.70 per share. The current consensus earnings estimate is $0.50 per share for the quarter ending December 31, 2021.

It came up in a scan today, and unlike many strong stocks that now look to be in danger of retracing some gains, this on ... - lostsheep: $BGFV see it mentioned a few times range breakout and pullback to the top as well as some potential support from the daily 20.

- champ: $DECK - Guy Adami on Fast Money said yesterday ..that he is a buyer. This is going to break a $100 and could be $110 or more by X-Mas. But one thing I want to point out to you: $BGFV reported strong earnings, and although it's sold off quite a bit from the open, one thing you want to note from their report is that firearms sales, and ammunition sales, are off the charts. Monday I started a long position in $ATK - May 65 calls. I'm watching the others for good opportunities. I won't do anything before a company's earnings (been burned too many times that way) but I don't think that companies involved in firearms production and/or sales are done making money for us. - @Tim

I did a little commentary on what I saw and drew some squiggly lines as @Dan might say. Check it out - of course, it's just my opinion. I know nothing about the fundamentals of the stock and do not own it.
Basically, I do not think it is ... - David: $BGFV, James, after seeing your chart, I looked at it further concerning trends, and the previous two times it has zagged back down, it didn't bounce off the 20 day sma, it continued down close to the 50 day ema before going back up. So between the volume and the previous trends, It does look not here not yet.
