We're witnessing a slog down in the E-minis, with several new intraday lows. None of the breaks have displayed any real momentum, though, apart from perhaps the takeout of the low for the first 30 minutes at 44 ... - bigbartabs: @Forexpro $BWA $PHIN $SPX ... hey right coast buddy... good to see your post. As per this morning's ADP numbers... do you think there might be a chance that the FED could now come out and say "well, we now need 3 rate increases?" Seems they are so on edge these days with the fear of not being aggressive enough... they might panic and up their bet even further?

The Auburn Hills, Michigan-based company said its plan comprises three approaches - profitably scaling electric light vehicles, expanding into electric commercial vehicles and optimizing its combustion-engine portfolio through the planned disposition of businesses with between $3 billion and $4 billion in aggregate revenue. "We believe the electrification opportunity is real, large, near term and important to our sustainability goals," BorgWarner (BWA) Chief Executive Frederic Lissalde said in a statement. Ahead of an investor day event, BorgWarner (BWA) said it expects to generate about $4.5 billion in free cash flow between this year and 2025. It said it is targeting achieving carbon neutrality by 2035.

I can get the RSI on the Fidelity charts but not, I guess, the pure RS and am wondering if it can be had without subscribing to some sort of charting service. Most of those I've tried don't play well with Apple computers at least not mine. For that matter neither does @Fidelity.

Don't get me started on Fidelity and their charting...The RSI there is best used to flag divergences, ie: New high in price with no corresponding high in RSI as one example.

Those were green for the most part and served well to offset some of the stop loss pain in Cloud and tech names. Tons of cash percentage wise so, lots of dry powder for when a follow through day occurs post correction. You seem to be excelling at this time...glad to hear it. Cheers

With the global, lithium-ion battery market for electric vehicles expected to grow, AKASOL believes it is well positioned to meet the demand for battery systems in the global electric commercial vehicle market. "The Executive Board welcomes the strategic partnership with BorgWarner(BWA), as it offers significant strategic perspectives to AKASOL," said Sven Schulz, CEO and Founder of AKASOL. "BorgWarner(BWA) shares our vision of emission-free mobility, and with joint forces, we will expand AKASOL's technology and market leadership for high-performance battery systems."
- Pokersmith: $BWA : from IBD ..... BorgWarner (BWA) punched up more than 7%, after announcing it would acquire Germany's Akasol in a deal valued at around $917 billion. Akasol makes higher performance lithium-ion batteries for electric vehicles and other applications. BorgWarner stock was poised for an early breakout above a 43.32 buy point in an 18-week cup base.

BorgWarner (BWA) posted earnings of $2.34 a share for 2020. It said it expects sales in weighted light and commercial vehicle markets to rise about 11% to 14%. The company said it expects foreign-currency effects to boost sales by about $355 million, primarily due to the strengthening of the euro and Chinese yuan against the dollar.

With China virus and all that is happening today, I just wonder if number means anything. Talk has been in the news about the simulate package, really, are not we out of money? When you take into account 78% of Americans are living paycheck to paycheck and 68% have personal debt with no idea how to pay back, my thoughts do not see a good ending. Add political promises in the mix, not sure how Wall Street really looks at the situation. Guess the old saying "follow the money", profits. - Forexpro: Re: $BWA Hi, Friends, This ticker gets very little love from the analyst community - it was cut to "Equal Weight" from "Overweight" this morning by Barclays, with a $42 PT, down from $45 - but it is only loosely correlated with the $SPX (0.47 over the last 20 trading periods) and has thus started to perform better relative to the index (as illustrated on the attached chart). I don't know that I'm a buyer right here, right now with earnings a week away (Oct 29, before the open) but I will start keeping an eye on it. Best of luck today!

Since then, the stock has lost 4 bucks. Bearish idea: Combined with economic news that U.S. Jan. Factory Goods Orders fell 1.4% month-over-month, matching estimates, a short position here offers a low-risk entry with a stop above 49.50. This risks a buck for downside to fib targets of 43, 39.50, 33, 30, then 27.
