  • debeers: $CRL@issues-FYI- a teensy fundy lesson: "Adjusts full year guidance" is also something you never want to hear. here's the most recent example i could find. Charles River Labs did't report poorly but it did the dreaded "ADJUSTS FULL YEAR GUIDANCE" when you "adjust" it it is always a down Why? Because otherwise it would be RAISED full year guidance(or at the very least Affirmed Full year guidance). So, hows it doin'? Oh, that would be down 30 bucks.

  • wineinquirer: $CRL Anyone have a position? On my long term wish list. Strong fundies, Impressive mutual fd adds from Mar-Jun qtr (MarketSmith) and strong price appreciation on YTD, 1,3,5,19 yr. Pulled back to 20d yesterday which has been support since late Mar. Thx, in advance, for any feedback.
  • WarrenB: @wineinquirer $CRL They came for my stop yesterday and just barely hit it. I've been in (and out) of this one since early November 2019. Mostly in. Been a long, profitable ride. Looking back, should've just held obviously. From what I see, the Weekly trend is still intact. But it's been a long run and could be getting tired. Likely will nibble back in when it gets back above and holds the 8DMA with volume. My 2 cents for what it's worth.

  • CdrJake: $CRL Notice how it is sneakily broke out of a triangle (on 1 and 3 year charts) at around 138 at same time it crossed the 50 DMA , now starting to drag the upper BB with it. Up 6 days in a row. Have been long for awhile, usually I dont add to the stocks i'm way ahead on... Triangle measuring gap (123 to 148) around 24 points.. so could see 172. Already reported, last week, high end of predicted.no earnings reporting till Feb.

  • Bobbie: @Dan, could you please comment on $CRL in one of your strategy sessions? I bought a light starter position at $105. this summer and have not added to it. It looks like there would be lots of support in the high teens. Should I nibble if it reaches the high teens again or take a bigger bite...or wait until the market is more stable? • issues: $ICLR missed by a penny. I evaluate a stock by increasing expected quarterly earnings. Ameritrade shows $1.15 $1.19 $1.26, pretty nice. I want more $ICLR but will wait to see the green (as in money) day. $ICLR is in IBD industry group 49 with others $INCR $PRAH $CRL $ILMN (which I bought. This may be phase two for $ILMN...). This is a one trick pony company ..... if Northera works ...it is a Stallion on its way to $8.00 as there is nothing out there to help these patients fight the effects of NOH ( debilitating dizzyness upon position change), if it gets a label( and that possibility became much stronger (90%)Friday after we learned that $BMRN got PDUFA approval on Friday) .... the restrictions will be due to the "length of efficacy for this treatment" - and this company has no money to fight it ...
