- PRK: @Pokersmith $KKR $NEE I own some Neovolta $NEOV (you don't see the chart here since it is not listed yet) and this company makes Solar batteries with Llithium Iron Phosphate which is safer than Lithium Ion. The life of their battery just increased from 10.95 years to 16.5 years, and they just reported great earnings that grew 193% for the nine month period ending March 31, The # of shares traded is low (22.9k 10 day average) but it is increasing, and I believe this stock is about to be listed on the NASDQ. The cofounder of $NEOV is Robert Wheat, who took his last company $BEEM to where it is today. This stock is worth considering as a spec. Check it out. I own some from around $3.75.

I find it fascinating how confession to someone else lifts ones spirit. Maybe the Catholics are on to something here? (I Am a Protestant but know the feeling of relief when your transgression(s) are confessed to another). But returning back to secular matters - risk management is important. The experience that you have shared with us Is a reminder that there is no risk free trade, (00) does happen, and your only defense is to limit your exposure to an acceptable risk. We have all been where you where last night and share your pain. The question that begs an answer is how many times do we have to experience this pain before we change our behavior? Their eyes start to leave me just mentioning it. And so I'm so grateful for this outlet to share ideas and experiences (confessions :). I realize now that my problem in the trade is that I was way over-leveraged. Every few years, this desire to go all in takes over me and I become this crane with a giant wrecking ball that swings side to side, and with it, my emotions. I always end up losing perspective bc the risk becomes intolerable. I should have added position sizing to my reminders to self. Thanks again.

I forget the stock a similar thing recently happened with: Upgraded by Morgan Stanley - yay! Stock runs up. Next day, secondary announced (oh Morgan Stanley is the underwriter). Stock tanks. Swamp dwellers... Anyway, I appreciate your honestly and sharing of lessons learned.

Selloff with the market has no rational basis based on expected earnings flow. NextEra buys wind and solar generators and sells power under fixed contracts. Parent $NEE is a $100B+ regulated Florida utility. $NEE also has a vast nonregulated segment that develops wind/solar across the U.S. Final projects drop down to $NEP. Cost of capital is very low. A decline is electricity use won't matter because the plants are fully contracted at fixed prices. Dividends are VERY safe. Nextera is a C-corp paying 1099 dividends referred to as distributions. Est. 2021 dividend $2.53. Above average growth and sustainability yield PT $63. Why is the Hidden User button not working? Badly needed to screen extraneous noise.

- Mitchell: 8/28/2019 Trading Notes $AVGO - there was a bullish hammer candlestick printed on the retest of the 200-day SMA (5th retest since May). Near-term resistance is at the $290 level. Earnings are due out on 9/12. $EBAY - nice bounce on increasing volume after testing the 100-day SMA and $38.50 support level. The uptrend that has been in place in 2019 remains intact. $NEE - snapped a 9-day winning streak today as the RSI finished below the 70 reading. Look for a pullback down closer to the 20-day SMA (RSI near the 50 reading). $THG - bullish hammer candlestick printed off of the test of the 50-day EMA. The long-term uptrend remains intact. $UNG - the natural gas ETF is trading in a well-defined downtrend since last November. It is now testing the 50-day EMA once again beneath where it is has been putting in a series of lower highs.
