- steve71: $NEP For investors seeking yield Nextera is strongly endorsed by Jefferies. This is a synopsis of their recent view. At 42 yield about 5.2% . Selloff with the market has no rational basis based on expected earnings flow. NextEra buys wind and solar generators and sells power under fixed contracts. Parent $NEE is a $100B+ regulated Florida utility. $NEE also has a vast nonregulated segment that develops wind/solar across the U.S. Final projects drop down to $NEP. Cost of capital is very low. A decline is electricity use won't matter because the plants are fully contracted at fixed prices. Dividends are VERY safe. Nextera is a C-corp paying 1099 dividends referred to as distributions. Est. 2021 dividend $2.53. Above average growth and sustainability yield PT $63. Why is the Hidden User button not working? Badly needed to screen extraneous noise.
