Neurotrope announced early today that they will announce/release results from their Phase II Alzheimer's drug trial at 6:30 AM Monday 5/1 followed by a conference call will follow at 8:30 AM ET on that date. $NTRP closed at $18.81 + 3.67 (24.24%). I hold a full position in $NTRP that I almost sold yesterday when I was unable to contact anyone at their NY headquarters. Was somewhat concerned that there was not a receptionist to take incoming calls and that they do not have a website for investor relations. Still antsy about this one -- if they have positive results and met their end points why didn't they release results sooner. Based on remarks made during their conference presentations in March, I expected data to be released mid April. It's been an anxious 2 weeks that's not over yet. You know where I'll be Monday morning..........
- bsafriet: $NTRP Still waiting for release of phase IIb trial data. Results now expected late April per Aegis Capital, which initiated coverage with a buy rating and $31.00 price target 4/12/17. I'm long, holding a full position. Will not add until data from trial released. $NTRP $19.84 + 0.41 ( 2.1%)

I didn't elaborate on the difference between $NTRP 's approach and the companies that have recently failed. Those that failed were all trying to prevent/eliminate amyloid proteins leading to plaque formation in the brain while Neurotrpe's Bryostatin restores neuron synaptic connections. Since making my original post here, I read an article on the "The Street" written by their resident biotech "expert" that flatly stated that Neurotrope's Bryostatin therapy for AD is based on "fringe science". No elaboration or references quoted. I frankly think the criticism is unwarranted, but it did cause me to pause. I'm still going to add to my position Monday morning at the open or even premarket if trial results are released prior to the open.

- maratom71: @champ $NTRP is going to report phase 2 results sometime in April, they listed on the Nasdaq on the 3-29, and rumor is, if they show any results showing possible reversal or slow down of AD, $NTRP would be the first to accomplish that, of all the Major Drug Companys. In Addition, they already have 75 patients pertaining to Cures towards AD. F D, S P

- champ: @maratom71 $NTRP -- I'm sorry but I don't trade or invest in the Biotech stocks... too much research and you have to keep a close watch on them.....but I do have a position in $INO. However, I do trade the ETF $LABU a lot...on News......I forgot about $GWPH....I have a a long term position.

- Henry: @maratom71 $NTRP Alzheimers drugs have been a big disappointment so far. A terrible disease on patients and their care givers. From the website Bryostatin is currently being tested in a 148 moderate to severe Alzheimer's disease patient population across 26 sites in the U.S. First patients dosed January 2016 and now fully enrolled. Primary efficacy endpoint based on Severe Impairment Battery Scale (SIB). Entry criteria based on the MMSE score. Secondary efficacy endpoints – Activities of Daily Living (ADL), Neuropsychiatric Inventory (NPI) and Mini-Mental State Exam (MMSE). Top line data expected in April 2017. No position, no opinion, it's a binary event. They have a couple other drugs for diseases most doctors have never heard of.

- maratom71: @shoredriver Are you talking about the same stock, $NTRP, traded 169,477 shares today, just did a 1 - 32 reverse split, is the only Bio Tech working on a cure for AD, and awaiting being listed on the Nasdaq? Plus, its up 22.72% today!
