- vfr777: $PEB anyone have comments on $PEB? It's a hotel trust and lodging REIT yield 8.68% just off the 50 day and broke above the highs since March 26th.
- williamJ: @vfr777 $PEB This name was on my radar. I don't like it as an add RHRN. I think RSI is diverging on the daily chart and it's up 50% in six trading days. I might buy the dips or after a period of consolidation now that it has broken above the 50 day. Depending on your entry, I might take some profits or let this think catch its breath and be prepared for the next move higher if the 50 holds. Good luck!
- vfr777: @williamJ $PEB Thanks. I see the RSI(14) at 64.67 and moving up. Why do you say it's diverging? I didn't specify that I wanted to buy, not sell.
- williamJ: @vfr777 $PEB Very presumptuous of me! My apologies :) I tend to look at RSI relative to price using linear regression lines (21 period). In that respect, this name's RSI is trending lower while price is trending higher and, in fact, has hit a point not seen since its decline in early-mid March

September 6th Market Watch: Pebblebrook Hotel Trust $PEB, +0.94% said Thursday it reached an agreement to buy fellow real estate investment trust LaSalle Hotel Properties $LHO in a deal valued at $5.2 billion. Separately, LaSalle said it terminated its previously announced merger deal with affiliates of Blackstone Group LP BX, 1.40% Pebblebrook and LaSalle shares were halted for news pending. Under terms of the deal, Pebblebrook will exchange either $37.80 in cash or 0.92 Pebblebrook shares for each LaSalle share outstanding.

Check out some of these symbols they all look to be doing the same thing, I cannot say any of these are Better than PEB but same group and some have better yields $AHT $XHR $RHP $CHSP $SHO $FCH $DRH $RLG and there are more if you have Tc2000 group ix1660

23. $PEB – good dividend. Breaking out of channel. Stock to hold for the DIV…as long as it’s moving higher.
- Geewhiz: $PEB @DAN Thank you for bringing this mini yield hog (+5%) to our attention. Trade looked reasonable to me and since your mentioned it November 11th it is up 20% and near 52 week high. I am placing a stop and will try to request an analysis via the normal route. Normal is so in nowadays.
- gmj: $PEB Just back fr vacation and have alert going off on this one. Anyone have ideas, I don't like the lower highs over the past weeks I'm about to get stopped out if it breaks down here. Still like the 5% div but will become mute if if breaks to downside now.
