- woodman: I was very close to buying some indexes for a hold over the weekend, but decided not to gamble. Still heavy in cash in the trading account with positions in $RNMBY $IAU $GDXJ $WRB $PLMR and $IBIT. (Also $LUCD as a spec trade for Medicare approval news expected this Q.) The gold stocks are quite extended, and have been for the last week and a half or so, but I've continued to hold.

- Henry: @Onthemark $PLMR CNBC reported that while big insurance companies have lowered their exposure, the new insurance companies that have come into the state may not have the reserves, in which case the big insurance companies will have to pay an assessment even though they have less exposure. Seems like a good reason for those insurers to totally leave the state.

I'm more of a longer term trader, but enjoy the ideas of the other styles. Sometimes I do research and take the trade as well if I think it's good for my portfolio.
