#Watching: $SCHW retest of the 100 day, still channeling so far.
$NVDA couldn't break the 8ema or the 50sma. Looks like it may be headed to a retest of the 100 but I don't plan to play this short.
- maracom: @maracom $SCHW had a placeholder position, bounce at the 100, now making new HOD towards the close. I took at starter 1/4 position
- pebbles: $SCHW fell off a cliff in March and has been on a uptrend since May. Is today’s pullback an opportunity to buy and hold or a warning sign?
- maracom: @pebbles $SCHW I'm not sure but I took a starter 1/4 position today because we're close to support at the 100. March pullback was due to exposure to long term treasuries. Gap up was on good earnings (Schwab is not SBV) and a bunch of us caught a windfall. Now we're back to increasing credit risk, yield curve still inverted, recession indicators still flashing yellow. Schwab is still standout from the "midsized banks" but still risky. My thesis is a low risk entry with small size, and I know where my stop is.

- joelsg1: $SCHW How are members with TD Ameritrade doing now with the Schwab transition? Just spoke with a senior manager who apparently values my opinion and was touting the Think or Swim platform, I replied that there were massive problems from what I've heard here.

- joelsg1: @Momentariness $SCHW I use Street Smart Edge for trades ,Stockcharts as well for research, which I find gives everything I need, plus Larry Williams new service and Money Flow Index. LW has been Money, esp. this past year. BTW, he's calling cycle lows in most equities for around now through 9/26 and then a broad rally through year end. And an e-mini short trade 9/19 for a 4 day hold--last month's long trade generated a triple for me as I posted then.

- ray: @joelsg1 $SCHW I had two accounts on TD Ameritrade. One is a retirement account with long-term holdings while the other is actively traded. The retirement account was moved this past weekend, with no issues. The communication started early with details about the future transition, followed later by announcing the transition along with steps to take to prepare, and finally several last week with steps to take once the transition was completed. I logged in to schwab.com after the move, and the site seems easy to navigate. Key for me is that I do not use ToS for the retirement acct. I do use it heavily for the account still on TDA, so there has been no impact to me as far as ToS is concerned.

I'm set-up, with No-problems at all, iPad and iPhone and my iPad is the best for me, at Schwab..........however I hardly ever use mobile because I'm #full-time in the Markets, #everyday, because I need all of my trading tools, my Computers and Monitors,........ because I need to see what is going on, especially all the Markets, #new-News ....thats how I work for my nice-profits..... and I get off work early everyday, at 4:00 PM ET.

- maracom: @Momentariness $SCHW I'm on schwab and TD and my accounts are moving over well, traded the summer sell off and sold after earnings. I've been more interested in going long again than short. The main negative catalyst I'm watching for is another mid-sized bank failure and the announcement that schwab is going to be selling corporate debt. I think the TD merger is a minor event
- maracom: @Momentariness $SCHW Price-wise, its' stuck between the 100 and the 50. If we get a retest of the 100 and a higher high, I was planning to take a starter. If we break above the 20 I was planning to take a starter. A break of the 100 would be a sell signal.

But that TD conversion sounds like a nightmare, and for my part they sent me by overnight a large box with a book by their founder inside, which I didn't ask for, don't want and won't read (perhaps a regift to a frenemy?). After their 50% drop on run fears, never really bought the recovery as I posted because their formerly usable client cash deposits had moved to money market funds earning them little. Still think there's value in AUM, otherwise I'd short.

Have been selling into this rally and currently sit at 60% cash. #Trading: Still bullish energy, long $UNG $URA.
