- Wolf: @grcjr $TTP $TYG $NTG $NDP $TPZ #Energy I think energy is starting to show signs of reversal, but I would start small. With world politics, it can pop or drop very quickly. Another indicator is that Solar is moving higher and rising energy cost is a catalyst.
- jan2138: @yieldhogs #Energy: @ Wolf mentioned a ticker, $TTP which led me to a group of energy related CEF's managed by a group called Tortoise Capital Advisors. They have 5 of these funds, $TYG, $NTG, $TTP, $NDP, & $TPZ. Some pay quarterly and some monthly. 4 of the 5 yield 8% or higher with $NDP yielding 12.83%. You can go to the advisor's website to get a great deal of info. on these funds or www.cefconnect.com. These funds offer a way to get involved in the energy sector including LLC's, MLP's etc. without having to deal with K-1's. They issue 1099's. Just some food for thought.
- grcjr: @jan2138 @Wolf $TTP $TYG $NTG $NDP $TPZ #Energy - looking at a 2 year chart for $NDP (all 5 look much the same) makes me think that now is not the time to buy. To me they appear to be in a downtrend. I will add these tickers to my watch list. Thanks for the posts.

- jan2138: @orthodoc: TYG: not familiar with this but after cursory look, I am going to look at it more closely as the chart looks very interesting. I note that the management co. has 3 0ther CEF's which I intend to explore a bit, but I think that $TYG looks most interesting right here. I am long both $ERF and EEP. I have a full position in $ERF but will add to $EEP on a pullback to the mid bb and a notch up or after it continues to trade sideways for awhile watching the 50 day ema and the price of oil and the stars look aligned after such a move.
