  • woodman: @traderbren $CAT - lots of farm and heavy construction machinery stocks doing well. See also $TEX (I'm in), $REVG (thin trader), $WNC $DE $PCAR $OSK $AGCO $CNHI
  • roddog101: @woodman $CAT $TEX $REVG $WNC $DE $PCAR $OSK $AGCO $CNHI I was thinking $TWI would follow $DE & $CMI up, if you look at chart hard enough you can make a case that $TWI does follow $DE w somewhat of a lag looks like
  • Docoof: @woodman $CAT $TEX $REV $WNC $DE $PCAR $OSK $AGCO $CNHI If you have time and you think it’s worthwhile, can you share your opinion on $LNN’s chart? Lindsay Corp is a small-cap company in the Industrials sector and the Machinery industry. Lindsay Corp. engages in the manufacture and distribution of irrigation and infrastructure equipment and technology.
  • woodman: @Docoof $CAT $TEX $REV $WNC $DE $PCAR $OSK $AGCO $CNHI $LNN - I didn't include LNN primarily because I thought it has pretty light average volume. That said, from a shares traded times price point standpoint, it isn't bad. With an average volume of about 60K shares at $169/share, it has total daily dollars same as 600K shares traded at $16.90. That's not bad. In any event, it's a little messy of a chart to me but it certainly has been on the rise and folks could well be making money with it. I just saw things that are more appealing to me. You can't own 'em all.
  • Docoof: @woodman $CAT $TEX $REV $WNC $DE $PCAR $OSK $AGCO $CNHI $LNN Understood and helpful. I don’t own it, but I always seem to learn something when you express your way of looking at a stock/chart. Thanks, woodman.
  • bill52: $WNC This has been trading in a pretty predictable channel 13/13.5 to 15/16 since Oct 2018. I have had luck trading the swings a couple of times for a 15-20% trade every month or two. Not exactly exciting but has made low-risk money. I just started another position today as it's in the low end of the channel again. As we know, there are no guarantees it does it again so my stop is at 12.80 to give it a little room but only risking 3.5%. Check it out and see what you think.
  • tjv821: $wnc on the move
  • issues: @issues $GILD My advice to myself; Sell the dog called $GILD and bury it. It's long overdue. It's beginning to smell bad. IBD this week 11 new additions: $BABA $BC $CAVM $EWBC $LOGM $LRCX $MRCY $MTCH $QRVO $TCBI $ULTA taken off the list are: $ASB $CPE $CRTO $GNTX $MBFI $MIDD $PACW $TTC $UAL $WNC $ZBRA If you look at the charts of the ones taken off, I don't see that much difference from ones they added. I wonder if they just play games with us and switch them around or if they really have a way to compute price/volume/upgrades or just throw a dart. Anyone work for IBD could intelligently answer this problem. Why would they take $WNC off? Why would they add $LOGM? It should be the other way around. Add WNC and take off LOGM! Or $UAL chart looks like $EWBC or $QRVO
  • tjv821: $wnc is killing it
  • tjv821: $wnc i'm scared not sure what to do should I sound of the strength or keep on riding it up?? Almost always seems like when I sell into the strength I lose a bunch of cash if I don't sell it takes a huge drop the next day
  • shoredriver: @tjv821 $wnc not knowing your cost basis/risk tolerance/goals....sell half.... pos size too big?....fwiw
  • Bridget: @tjv821 $wnc sell 75% of what you own, then keep riding the last 25% with a tight stop
  • spmeyers: $WNC Wabash cannonball!
  • issues: @Rasta I will have to ask IBD, ok? I will need some sort of remuneration from you, right? Ok ok, just kidding. Don't tell IBD but here it is: $NVDA $UBNT $EVR $THO $HQY $TREX $ANET $IDCC $CPE $BOFI $AEIS $CFG $ESNT $EXP $VEEV $WAL $PRI $AMAT $SIVB $PLAY $SCHW $STMP $GRUB $FCB $HOMB $STL $MS $CGNX $MSCC $GATX $CRTO $COMM $OZRK $MXL $NTES $UTHR $GIMO $MPWR $GNTX $FRC $RDN $MASI $ALGN $JCOM $WNC $MBFI $GS $CARB $MIDD $MCHP
  • tjv821: $wnc working great
  • Bridget: @hunter2 I noticed shipping was doing well today, $WNC and $CHRW
  • Bridget: Vol Squeeze scan today: $WNC, $SC, $AET. Of these I like WNC the best.

  • johnnyBravo: No, I'm just a boy from NC. Grew up in Miami against my will but now back in the $WNC mountains. I did have a tiny radio show in Miami and a small restaurant.

  • seahawk: $WNC - anybody familiar with this one? Coming out of a #squeeze and has broken above the 50 dma today. 15% short of float. Looks like a good base and the weekly looks good. There is some resistance nearby but the stock has consolidated for the past month and a half. Thoughts anyone?
  • snapper: $WNC That is a very constructive chart, big base. looks nice. The thing i think about is the T2000 is up at probaly 80% So is it to high to buy. Just a guess.
  • Golf77: $WNC looks great higher lows everyday. Here are the estimates .40 2011, 1.01 2012, 1.45 2013. Last quarter first profitable Qrt since feb 08
  • Golf77: $WNC pivoting today. Reported a great quarter. Transportation
  • Golf77: $WNC Hey @DAN here a good looking transportation company. Makes Trailers(boxes Trailers) for transportation. Reported yesterday and beat the number. Lost .59 in 2010 estimates of make .38 in 2011 and 1.04 in 2012. If the economy is getting better they will need more trailers to move product around. First positive earnings quarter in 10 quarters.
  • DAN: $WNC -- @Golf77, with the caveat that I know nothing about Wabash National (though I do recall that Wabash County was the locale for Grumpy Old Men [one of my faves...(How can you not like Jack Lemmon and Walter Mathau?)]....I do agree that this is a pretty low risk entry on WNC. Forming a nice base along the 50-day $MA -- something that we have been seeing a lot of lately. Nice eye, my friend. @Dan
  • Darce: #Transports - $WNC and DRYS. I think @DAN mentioned trucking as a potentially good sector to be in during a recent video. $WNC does this: Wabash National Corporation engages in the design, manufacture, and marketing of standard and customized truck ...
  • Hawk327: $WNC Hi Darce, #Cramer had a segment the last night or two and talked about $CMI, NAV. and the trucking update cycle in this country. These names are very strong now and $WNC fits right in with these and the chart is in blue sky territory. $TRN may be another name to look at here. looks to be consolidating.
  • jng369: Badly beaten down stocks. I wrote a filter to scan for all stocks which has been beaten down at least 70% stocks. With an recovering economy, I think that those stocks are probably ready to recover some of their lost as well. Even if they can recover 20% of their lost by the end of the year, that is a very sizable gain. This is the list that I am going to work on today and tomorrow to find some bargains. Pls add some comments if you can... $C, $MGM, $LVS, $DRYS, $AIG, DPTR, $DYN, $YRCW, $RF, $BPOP, $MTW, $CIM, $GCI, $RRI, $JASO, $MNI, $BBD, MI, WFR, $DDR, $GGP, $CENX, LIZ, $EGLE, $SRZ, $NCS, $SAY, $SGY,HERO, $PQ, EXM,OEH, $PETD, $WNC, $LEE, $TWI, $IRE, TSCM, $FR, TBSI, TRAA, APL, SUSQ. I just posted a subset. I will dig into some of the fundamentals of those companies to find some bargains...
  • mbronson4: Hi Team, I got into $WNC at ~$1.5 which has been support from aug 4th -19th, it hit my auto sale at $2.5, where I sold all of my shares, my question is do you take the gain and move on or would you sell the shares that represent your cost and then simply take your eye off it and let the "house" money ride with a very lose stop? I considered this a spec play so I had a small position and did not think of it as a core stock holding. Thanks for your thoughts
  • jb130: $WNC interesting It seems to be in the same field as CVGI. Is auto/truck parts the next hot spot ala coal last week?
