I have followed him for years and he is usually pretty good with his analysis of markets . One thing we both agree on , fed is not dropping rates anytime soon . I bought and sold $XBI calls last week when it ran from 90-94 area . Looking to get back in

The lion's share of our inflation is grounded in overspending, printing too much money, and shutting down America's efficient energy production within. The FED's laser focus on Interest rates is important, but a much lesser secondary agitation. Bottom line is we are now inside of the toughest inflation situation to solve.... which means industry is forced into layoff mode... which means a tough recession is probably in the cards for us all. Until industry has more products to sell, than consumers have fake printed money to buy... prices / inflation just keep going up.

- steve71: $KWEB One of my subscriptions is Sentiment Trader. I have found their postings to be consistently profitable when they show that some entity (stock, bonds, interest rates, market) has reached an extreme and stabilized. Per today's email KWEB is there. This is Chinese tech/internet, which drew fire from Grand Dragon Xi in July and collapsed. The government is said to have accomplished its Bernie Sanders type mission and is now backing off the criticism. Shares are down today and I will take advantage by starting a 25% position MOC. Leaves room down to the 50 dma to add more. Under the 50, a couple of stops. This is intended to be a long term hold, not a trade. Speaking of Evil Empires, Facebook is having a day.

The Evergrande mess continues yet Chinese stocks continue their slow recovery. We like stocks that do well despite bad news. Chinese equities were oversold. They have rebounded to about the early September highs. A break above current levels could yield another 10-20% upside in short order.

Maybe the Golden Child as the Chinese authorities aren't focusing so much on retail now. 20% of ALL retail sales in China pass through BABA. FXI is a good proxy for the general Chinese economy and is doing well. KWEB, Chinese internet and tech, is still at some risk as tech is the current target for Xi. IMO all three are buyable here.
