So there are a few things to watch into the end of the week, though I’m not in a big rush to put money to work without a ... - wineinquirer: $LEN $TOL MHO MTH BZH $PHM Been watching these for some time with np as of yet. They all have similar long term cups and handles (give or take) but using measured move from base to breakout to estimate tgt uncovers that many have already made significant progress toward tgts. The two that still look attractive for gains seem to be $LE N & $TOL. Both are not too far above the breakout and thus have more potential for gains. May take an entry (or two) small today as home building sector still strong (from a technical pattern standpoint) as inventory still is tight. In my area (Marana, Az), home builders (some public, some private) have been building non-stop since prior to COVID. Lots for 150-250 new homes seem to sprout like new grass all around us.

In Cali, that price buys you a golf cart garage. i wanted to give you the historical on this one where a miss is rare. Wednesday AMC it reports. Here's the historical: Total Return 1 Year %2B47.6% 3 Year +91.3% 5 Year +122.5% You could do worse and, IMO, they are based in the right market and totally financially sound. I will be long into and iof they didn't haved the record that they do, i wouldn't.

Could you take a gander @$LEN, MHO, both of which showed >avg vol on Fri. and my top watchlist. As well, could you take a look @ $PANW . Should bump on Mon due to addition to the S&P500 addition announced for 6/20. Has a multi-month double bottom and tested the breakout prior to the post mkt close announcement. My plan is to hold $TOL thru the May call with one more rate increase. A high end buyer maybe moving from Cali or New York will get savings on both ends if choosing to buy in a low or no tax state.

$LEN is up around 5%. The trend is really healthy though the stock is overextended here. Expect a bit more weakness for a while. My suggested stop is 103.30. With a 106.20 entry, the dollar risk is pretty low. You set your own stop.

At OMM, I put on a covered strangle and covered straddle -- option trades that are beyond the scope of SMM. But the market closed prior to me being able to get this idea out, so I'll just use the closing price today and suggest that you take a look at the stock tomorrow. - Henry: @DAN $LEN the stock went up another buck after you first posted on OMM. I think what is happening in the housing market: 1) It is still strong in red states where people are moving. 2) Gen Z is tired of paying rent or living in the basement. 3) No matter what you think of immigration, those people have to live somewhere. Maybe they drive up rental prices, maybe they have more money than we expect and can afford to buy homes. I suspect they settle in the Southern tier of states, which are also Red states.
