- champ: @kenb #Market....$SPY $UDOW $QLD $TQQQ ...What has happened in the most recent past, doesn't mean that trend will continue in the future....... ....and if we were to look at the $SPY and a few other ETF's, we can clearly see the start of a turn happening. For me, what I'm saying is ...what happened in the past doesn't really mean, that will continue into the future........ ....because the fact is, this is a Stock-pickers market and the #only thing that really counts is Entry-timings, on both stocks and sectors. - champ: $UDOW $QLD......as we all know, this is #FOMC-Rate-Decision-Day...and the play could be, off of that same trend, that there has been, a nice bounce off of the wording of the Rate Decision and then Fed-Powell saying, that #inflation has been dropping and that #will bounce the Markets, again, just like it did has time...... .....so it is a Wait and See how it plays out, and if we get a nice bounce again, I will probably take profits off on my ETF's again........... .....because it is true, as we all know, that Inflations has been dropping, so it is.......... #Risk-on-Game-on.....because the hope is, that their will be a Rate-cut this year.

- Cjauger: So one tenth of a point below expectations and we rally? Even though it is one tenth of a point above previous month. I remain skeptical that Wednesday’s shot acroos the bow, is negated by one tenth of a point. Institutions will let us know soon enough. Had a nice day trade on $QID yesterday and $QLD today. Also if I may throw in a testimonial for @TraderGeekSam, we have some nice trades going at OMM. His stock/trade picks are on 🔥🔥🔥 , check out $IONQ, he got us in there when it was trading in the low 30s.

I think they are just jerking us around trying to seperate us from our money.

- scottrades: @sipsik $BMO Without knowing your entry price or timeframe, it looks like BMO has been in a long downtrend and just got back above the 200 Day (black line) yesterday. I'm not a dividend chaser but if it can get above the downsloping line and start to trend up that would be a better time to own it. I personally think it's better to own things trending up (or sideways) when you're trying to generate yield. Why bother with 5% when you could put that money in $QLD which is up 15% in the past 3 weeks. Also look at the Earnings...the past 6 Quarters has Negative Earnings...no wonder the stock isn't going up. The chart needs work my friend. Even if you have to buy back higher, at least you'll get in when the time is right and it rewards you right off the bat. My 2 cents..

However for Now, I have NP's in any tech-stocks or tech-ETF's. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The tech sector is really holding back the Markets or maybe I should say, that this large player...$NVDA is holding everything back, because if they have a negative earnings report, with #lower-guidance, then everything will drop. .....Make No-mistake about it, the Markets really do need $NVDA, to have a positive earnings report or our Profits will hit the fan and we will get all Chopped-up...big-time........ ....however if $NVDA beats, it will be #Happy-Days ahead, for everybody. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
- Cjauger: Trimmed half of $NVDA, $NVDL, and $QLD (my only positions) then went to $CASH. The rubber band went way down, and now it went way up. Both sides were parabolic, $SPY within 3% of its all time high. At the very least this charts have to rest, if not pull back some.
- billyzeke: @Cjauger $NVDA $NVDL $QLD $CASH $SPY I trimmed 1/3 of my $NVDA position earlier and have staggered stops in place in case things start really moving to the downside. I actually added a little back at $126.25, I'm watching it closely.
- Cjauger: @billyzeke $NVDA $NVDL $QLD $CASH $SPY. I thought about putting a stop at the LOD on my remaining shares. Then I looked at how much open profit I had, so I took it, will wait for charts to reset. Seating on my hands, hard to do.

- champ: $TSM...HOD...this is one of my swing positions and this has to be one of the best Charts of the Day, on the 5-minute, all Green-stairs for now. This stock reported an earnings beat on July 17th........ ..... and on 8/9 they reported that their July revs were up 44.7% YoY...so it was just a matter of time that this would move, it was only waiting for the Markets to bounce, the tech sector...the $QQQ's...$TQQQ $QLD. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
