- phgruver: @BarryC $UNH Barry, I'm a pretty good #VALUE investor, but this doesn't look like a value to me. They missed on earnings, last quarter, and the eps is less than the dividend, even though the dividend is only at 2.73% ($8.40/share). If they don't get back, significantly, above and eps of $8.40, in the next quarter or two, they are going to have to cut the dividend, because the current payout is not sustainable. If they are forces to cut the dividend, $UNH will be going down some more.... As a 59 minute trade, you may be good, as this was an extreme move. As a long term investment, though, you have to wait for it to form a base, and establish a sustainable level. I would have to do some more research to figure out what I'd consider fair value, but RHRN, this is untouchable.

- phgruver: @woodman $UNH #VALUE Valid point, but as @Dan often points out, all I need to do is look at the chart. :-) When looking at the extended chart, $UNH is down to a level it hasn't seen since April 2020. Bluntly stated, there is no support! It isn't going to $0, of course, the business is worth something, but it's going to take a bit to figure it out. I've got better and safer places to put my money....

Searching for the butcher's block and many better places to put one's money right now, unless the goal today is to try a bounce trade - perhaps a one-off trade. Not for me, but I'm sure folks better at that stuff can pull it off much better than I can.

- cgendro1: @mhuie $UNH - Not my cup of tea. Relative strength is at 27 and MACD (momentum indicator) not positive yet. The weekly chart is horrible. 17% below 50dma so still in correction territory. I don't think it is bottoming just yet but that is MHO. Depends if you are looking for a trade or longterm hold. It is back to May 2021 levels. It pays a divvy but I don't recall how much. You don’t need approval..you get the surgery done and Medicare just pays a predetermined amount for the type of surgery……. The next 5 add another 22% and include $MCD and $V, then the next 5 add 23% for a total of 75% of the index. The bottom 25% of the index includes $DIS, $NKE, and $VZ. Who thinks our $DJI will charm with animated classics, send shoes to run away faster, or talk them to death? 🤣🤣🤣 BTW... $HON is 15th on the list contributing 3.17%, and $BA is 20th contributing 2.35% to the $DJI
