Alert at 55 $OBSV Wedbush has a 40 PT on this. Watch for a move above the 50 Day. $BEAM and IPO from the forum. Alert at 25 $SEDG Holding above the 8 Day. Watch above 139 Also a note that I'm away Monday and Tuesday.
- stairm01: $APRE Stopped out at the open today. Still near an ATH. Volume is low making it harder to trade, but worth the trade if caught moving like it did yesterday.

- stairm01: @scottrades $APRE In stock at 38.40. This IPO had consolidated at the low of 32.30 area for three days on the pullback from a phase 1 VS breakout. On Friday, the stock showed high volume, but many stocks did. I bought a starter on Monday and the move continues today. This could be a phase 3 move with todays close at an ATH close above 39.37.

Printing Higher Lows $PAYS Still rejecting at the major moving averages. $ZNGA Nice range and strong close today on low volume. Watch above 6.35 $PRSP Daily Higher Low. Not sure your entry but the weekly chart is still in trend. $NVST Trading like and IPO. I would have a partial stop at LOD. $APRE In a strong industry group not doing anything wrong. $DEA Strong uptrend, nice divy, watch for consolidation here stock is up 25% out of the base.

- DAN: $APRE -- if you happen to still be holding this rocket ship, it is truly time for you to take your profits. Put another way, if you are still holding APRE, it is for some reason other than making money. If that's you, I'd suggest getting counseling or doing some other type of self-awareness work to help get yourself figured out. Trading in the stock market is a very VERY expensive therapy session to exorcise your demons.

- dpierce3326: Hello All, I am new to SMM. I am a beginner and trying to learn as much as I can. I got in on $APRE at $43.25 (the top). Wondering if I should cut my losses here at $40.87. Any advice?
- captron: @dpierce3326 $APRE Howdy and welcome aboard. There are so many things in the education-tutorial section of SMM for you to browse through. To answer your question, decide when you buy how much you are willing to loose and put a stop there. You can always buy it back, especially with the no commision days we have. Check out the tutorials and I think you will be a better trader if you practice and retain the info.
- stairm01: @dpierce3326 $APRE I can't tell you one way or the other. It depends on size of position. I can tell you I've had the same experience in the past and it's best to sell. The entry was terrible as the stock has run up 83% from 6 days ago. That is what has helped me to stop chasing these kind of trades. If I do see one that has run 20 to 30 % and I want in, I go in small and set a stop immediately to prevent a big loss. Sometimes they just keep running. These are sooooo tempting to get in, but you have to learn control. Look at the percent it has already run. It's very hard not to jump on these running trains, but you don't want to lose all of your money.
- scottrades: @dpierce3326 $APRE Hey dpierce! I'm glad you're here. You bought a stock that was extended well outside the Bollinger Bands. The error was being late on the entry and not giving yourself a level to define your risk. Looking at the chart I think you want the 40.45 level to hold. My suggestion would be try and get out a close to break even as possible and wait to enter at a safer level.

- brett_anderson: @dpierce3326 $APRE it happens to the best of us. i'm certainly not the 'best', and have done this many times. it's funny (not funny), though, eventually you start learning the charts, patterns, what you're looking for, and actually implement a process. sometimes not actually trading is much harder than doing so. all of that said, stick around -- you're going to learn, and you'll get better!

- DAN: $APRE is blasting off. I mentioned this IPO last night, and @antfarm also posted about it earlier today. The stock has broken right through $35 bucks as if it wasn't there. This is a biotech stock that is pretty thinly traded, with a typical day not even seeing 100,000 shares traded. So it is a risk stock to own because of its fragility -- one big seller can crush the stock...just like one big buyer can push the stock higher. Dan
- issues: @antfarm $APRE this is a rocket ship. It was $26 yesterday up 10 points in a day. I should think the volume would be low. Who would buy it here? A little over-bought for me. It's in the biotech/medical group but not a good composite rating at 66 (out of 100). It has an A- accumulation - which is excellent. Will wait on this one.
