- scottrades: $ARM Trying to recapture the 50 Day @Aibistin-1
- champ: @Aibistin-1 $ARM....Yes... #Day-3, nice Upgrade this morning.
- champ: Nice Continuation-trades....$ARM $AVGO $DELL $NVDA and $LLY, however always expect zig-zags and the Markets are always in charge of direction, need Happy-Markets. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
- champ: $ARM....at $128.50......Watch for Entry..because they are an $AAPL supplier, their V9 Chip Design is in their iPhone 16.
- champ: #Day-trades.....I rolled out of $ARM $VKTX and $SVXY, with nice timings and I moved back into $UVIX for another Spec trade, with Trailers, going to see what happens.
- champ: I'm back to Not holding any positions again and those nice Profits are on the side and I'm back to Watching-targets again..... ......and $ARM could work again, if we were to get another Market-turn....and I'm back-in $ARM.
- ZMan2: $ARM is up 5% HOD. Morgan Stanley says Top Large Cap stock pick as edge AI opportunities emerge.
- champ: $ARM at $133, needs the Market, all tech stocks, needs the tech-sector to be working and what stands-out is,....... the mid July high was $189, so this has real nice room to climb back-up before their Next earnings report.........and with them being an $APPL #supplier on their new iPhone 16, they will probably Beat and Raise....... because of their new AI products...... .......so for Now, I'm going to try to swing my position......... if I like the tech sector, on the close. ..........Game-on...Risk-on............ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
- vitoB:
- champ: $ARM...looks real strong and this is the place to be....as it is on its way, Back-up to $189.
- champ: @vitoB......Yes $ARM....#Thanks.
- champ: $ARM..up over 9% and with 18 minutes left..ARM is leading the tech sector higher......
- ZMan2: Took a little off $NVDA & $ARM going into the close.
- indigo1948: @champ $DJI $UVIX - had a good day - into $ARM and liking the look of $TSM as it setting up at the 50 DMA. All the best.
- champ: @indigo1948 $DJI $UVIX $ARM......I like $TSM also, however I when into $ARM, which was up over 10% because of that new $AAPL News...and I liked $NVDA for a reversal bounce trade....so I will see, if I can get back-in tomorrow. Good Luck!
- indigo1948: @champ $DJI $UVIX $ARM $TSM $AMR $AAPL $NVDA - you also - tomorrow should make for an interesting open.
- Henry: $ARM $MSTR $NSC Apple using ARM chips in the new Iphone MSTR Saylor was on CNBC this am https://www.cnbc.com/video/2024/09/09/microstrategys-saylor-on-bitcoin-our-strategy-beat-every-company-on-the-sp-index.html NSC That pesky codpiece is causing problems again.
- Wolf: $ARM $AAPL Apple is using $ARM V9 chip in design for Iphone 16.
- Henry: @Wolf $ARM $AAPL Showtime will be 10 am Fitzpatrick time.
- RichardinME: @Henry $ARM $AAPL Hi Henry. I'm asking you only because I know you have owned this and sold some before earnings. $ What are you doing with $CAVA now? Are you still holding some and if you were to start a position would you buy at 117 or wait for a pullback? I think the chart looks great and it has been doing well despite a horrible last week.
- Cjauger: @RichardinME $ARM $AAPL $CAVA I have a small position in it, hav been in and out of it for a while. Should have stayed in
- Cjauger: @RichardinME $ARM $AAPL $CAVA added this morning.
- Angdionk: $ARM held up quite well yesterday still below the 50
- billyzeke: $ARM is having a good day.
- Cjauger: $ARM big hourly volume
- Angdionk: @Cjauger $ARM good daily volume so far
- chrisbman360: @Cjauger $ARM I got in after that bounce off the 200d which seems to support. Still keeping a pretty tight stop but love the action but as Dan says there is likely some overhead resistance after that big haircut after earnings.
- Cjauger: bought $ARM starter
- woodman: $ARM - Looking good. I added today to a smallish position I started yesterday.
- woodman: $ARM trying to move above the 8dEMA. The pullback took it down to the 200dSMA where it found support. It has a similar look to $SMH more broadly, but ARM is a little behind SMH's move above he 8dEMA. Lots of overhead supply, but maybe they can chew their way higher. For ARM, a move back to the 21dEMA and 50dSMA is about 11% and 24%, respectively.
- cgendro1: $ARM-down near 41% from its high. There is a gap from 2/8 around 80 that wasn't filled. Is it heading there? Don't know but watching
- jonwest88: $XLF, $KRE, $PSX, $VLO, $BAC, all just being dumped. Looking at the tech darlings of yesterday, and today's sell off, did we really just see a bear market rally? $AMAT, $ARM, $AMD, $MU?
- ZMan2: @Cjauger $MSFT $NVDA U can include $ARM in the mix its up 6.85% this morning.
- woodman: @ZMan2 $MSFT $NVDA $ARM - the question for me on the charts are what the chip stocks do when they hit overhead major moving averages: $AMD the 200d (repelling thus far after just about hitting it this morning) and $NVDA & $ARM the 50d. Are these rollover spots or just very temporary obstacles soon to be overcome? FOMC decision this afternoon, $META tonight, $AMZN and $AAPL tomorrow, and Friday jobs report could give us the answer to these questions. Expect some volatility.
- joelsg1: @woodman $MSFT $NVDA $ARM $AMD $META $AMZN $AAPL $NVDA rejected "to the penny" at 50d ema so far today.
- Cjauger: @woodman $MSFT $NVDA $ARM $AMD $META $AMZN $AAPL hourly volume is higher than average at 135 million shares in the first 2 hours. Also yesterday it took a beating, I added, I am up to 1/3 of a full position
- ZMan2: @woodman $NVDA & $ARM Rt now weak institutional buying. Both rated D in that category by IBD.
- Wolf: $ARM Beat top and bottom, mixed guidance. Down 8% after market.
- jonwest88: @Wolf $ARM $qcom others up, $ARM down : sucks
- Wolf: $ARM Down a little less than 2% on a downgrade from hold to reduce by HSBC
- Aibistin-1: $ARM down 10% this morning.
- Cjauger: $ARM reversal on higher than average volume
- ZMan2: $ARM is back up 5% midday at DOD.
- ZMan2: $ARM HOD
- ZMan2: $ARM Got stopped out last week at $158. with a 30% gain. Currently trying to get back in
- DrScience: @ZMan2 $ARM coming up on $173. You can expect some resistance from last week. You might look to sell call premium above $205
- Cjauger: $ARM picked up a starter. Very resilient
- shoredriver: @Cjauger $ARM ...possible earnings run....
- Wolf: @Henry $TSM In retrospect, $TSM is not down much more than $ARM, $AMD or $NVDA.
- woodman: $ARM bouncing and going to take a run at the overhead VWAP, not that I have a lot of confidence here. We'll see.
- woodman: $ARM - I was busy with other things but now see I stopped out on $ARM.
- woodman: @phgruver $MU $SMH - Within the sector, I'm still in $NVDA and $ARM.
- indigo1948: @woodman $MU $SMH $NVDA $ARM - ditto - also jettisoned $MU this morning.
- Mars: For Training Room - Thoughts on $CRWD, $ARM, $KBH s'il vous plait.
- joelsg1: @Mars $CRWD $ARM $KBH On $CRWD, my biggest winner from last year and continuing this year (though not my biggest), all cybersecurity getting a boost from news $GOOGL is talking a $23B offer for the "Wiz",a startup featuring AI based threat detection/response, backing off now. $CRWD is about 34% above its 200d, which makes it a tough add here, and I think $370 is a key level to hold. It reports 8/28 after $FTNT 8/6 and $PANW 8/15 and usually reacts to both, so a wait and see for now. Good luck.
- woodman: @RichardinME $NVDA $MU -re Big Tech, I gave up on $DELL with a small gain, but I'm still holding $NVDA (long term mentality with this one and is fine still in a wedge/weekly pennant) and $ARM (continues to stay top BB complex) and, for the time being, $MU as it treads the 50d. MU is more concerning, though.
- ZMan2: $ARM is up 5% midday.
- Cjauger: @woodman $MU I have $ARM it held up so much better than $NVDA through the last 2 weeks and $NVDL
- woodman: @Cjauger $MU - Yes, I'm in MU. Also in $NVDA $ARM and $DELL.
- dgrobo: $ARM and $ANET hold some of each, both look extended. Way this market goes, probably will defensively sell some. Extended stocks don't stay extended for long it seems.
- woodman: $NVDA $ARM - continuation.

- bigbartabs: @Henry $META $ARM $AMZN $GOOGL $AVGO ... same with $NVDA
- champ: $ARM...maybe $179.00 will hold..??
- ZMan2: $ARM is up 6% & hit 52 week high this morning on no news that I can find.
- Motorman: @ZMan2 $ARM holding also, consolidating big move.
- ZMan2: $ARM up 3% at the close 30% above its 50 day mva, but only 3.5% in the last 4 weeks. Lg since 5/17 24.

- Bert953: @ZMan2 $ARM currently a spinning top, but 8dMA held as support. Could forma j-hook bullish pattern here. Chalkin money flow is strong, but may be leveling out. Price hit and regressed in the resistance zone from 2/12/24. Could be a good entry but Im not really interested
- ZMan2: @Bert953 $ARM started scaling in 5/17 23. Jensen Huang tried to by $ARM for A Reason. I'm Currently up 44%
- ZMan2: @Bert953 $ARM ment started scaling in 5/17 24 not 23.
- Bert953: @ZMan2 $ARM way to go. You've got wiggle room for pullbacks. if the flag works, you could get a double.
- woodman: Added to $ARM and $NVDA in the last hour of trade.
- phgruver: @bigbartabs $MU Obviously, the market wanted more than it got. $AMD, $ARM, $DEL, $NVDA are all down as well.

- Henry: $ARM Say goodbye to this one too
- bigbartabs: @Henry $ARM ... looks like ARM might turn into LEG.
- Henry: @bigbartabs $ARM Added back what I sold
- jwheels: @Dan Looks like it was a rough day for the ATL stocks as 6 were stopped out today: $ARM, $COIN, $DPZ, $MSTR, $NVDA, and $PLTR
- Henry: @jwheels $PLTR Someone downgraded them. I am still holding $ARM $COiN $MSTR and $NVDA but I have different entry points than the ATL
- woodman: @StockMarketMentor $NVDA $SMCI $PLTR $DELL - $ARM - up over 100% since its 4/19 pullback bottom - makes it the Fab Five. :-) It made an all-time high on Tuesday and is pulling back a bit this morning to test that move. ($164 was the completion of a cuppish or V-ish configuration).
- DAN: @woodman $NVDA $SMCI $PLTR $DELL $ARM Not gonna fight you on this, woodman. I'll take five...love to have "sexy six" if anybody's got suggestions. Seven in Heaven. Great Eight. Gnarly Nine. Tremendous Ten?
- dgrobo: @DAN $NVDA $SMCI $PLTR $DELL $ARM $TSM for number 6?
- woodman: @DAN $NVDA $SMCI $PLTR $DELL $ARM - I love "Sexy Six"! LOL.
- DAN: @woodman $NVDA $SMCI $PLTR $DELL $ARM We could make it the Slick Six. Super Six. Soooo many words that start with "S". ;-)
- phgruver: @Margi1983 $QCOM Snapdragon competes with $ARM and $APPL. As for $INTC, not so much. All the smart-phone centric stocks are down. I don't think there's a problem, just a normal bout of profit taking prior to the end of the quarter.
