- atlantadave3: $AZPN Aspen Software has been chugging up for quite a while now. It has ben going sideways for the last 3 weeks, but is above the 20MA and is close to the bottom of the rising weekly channel. I would say that it needs to hold $54.30 to stay within that weekly and the daily channel. Any thoughts? I have a 1/2 position, and will add if it continues its trend. @issues - What is the IBD take on this? (You mentioned it in 10/06/16)

- issues: Appreciate your work Bridget. Just looking at your posts today; $TTD (The Trade Desk) is in IBD category 5 (out of @200 is excellent!). But it's only rated a composite of 54 and accumulation of n/a (not good). Others in this group include $PAYC (we hold as a LTH) $MANH (we own LT) $AMBR & $AZPN (np). The other one $NPTN is in IBD industry group 62 rated 91 A- (accumulation). Also in this group is $AIRG (broken pattern). Since we prefer stocks above $20 we aren't rushing to buy NPTN (although it is a good choice). Many thanks Bridget for your work and suggestions. Please keep them comin'. We value your ideas.

- issues: $AZPN A good earning reports get the stock creamed down 10% (Est $0.18 actual $0.28 equals a huge beat of 55.56%!! ) This is why it's a good idea not to carry a full position over earnings, right. We had a 50% position. This makes me nervous about $JCP. I don't know if I have the stomach to carry this over earnings tonight. Dan are you wobbly too? Anyway I'll take the little profit I have and let others catch it if it falls. Let's fact it $DDS $JWN are better stores. Even $KSS! Yet retail is not the place to be, right now.
