- wijimmy: $BTBT, $NVDA, $SMCI... All about the Bitcoin... ... Bit Digital, Inc. ($BTBT) on December 20, said it had received an initial batch of servers that are equipped with NVIDIA Corporation ($NVDA) HGX H100 GPUs From Super Micro Computer, Inc. ($SMCI). The company $BTBT has received 89 servers, which will be shipped and delivered to the datacenter in Iceland by the end of this month. Bit Digital expects to receive the remaining 103 servers by the first week of January 2024 and subsequently deploy them in Iceland during January 2024.

- Ian: $BTBT looks more like a bitcoin miner but maybe the guys that provide pics and shovels for miners. Chart looks more like a credit outfit than a miner like $RIOT. Need Scott to translate their website language about 'strategic partnerships' into plain English. Maybe it means 'off-loaded risk.'
- jmichaelet: @Ian $BTBT $RIOT I just checked out the site, and they are definitely a mining outfit. The corporate presentation talks a bit about building a competitive advantage through sourcing of, as far as I can tell, their energy (from "clean" sources) and mining hardware (direct from manufacturer - though I don't believe that's particularly notable). They are also moving into staking for proof-of-stake, beginning with Ethereum, which means in the long term they should become a diversified crypto/web3 play as they move into other blockchains. I haven't spent much time researching the operations of $MARA or $RIOT, just traded them based on signals. It might be worth my doing a little research to compare fundamentals and business models.

- scottrades: @dippperrr $BTBT It certainly is coming off the bottom but is a hard buy for me while it's under all the major MAs. Doesn't mean it can't and won't go higher or is wrong to trade just not my trade based on the technicals alone. The Volume is pretty clearly bullish but I don't have an edge here.

There has been plenty of pain but all has gone back into the green in the past couple weeks and is very green today.

- scottrades: @Tcghlt1974 $riot You want to wait for a successful pullback to support at this point or wait to see it base. I cannot recommend buying a stock that's up 14%. If you buy here you'd need a stop about 22% down...that's way too risky. Watch for a potential move back down to the 8EMA. You could look at $BTBT. It's another Crypto play, but it's closer the moving averages. I do believe it's a Chinese stock though, so just FYI on that as there's always some risk with Foreign stocks.
