I want to build a position as the thesis of this stock is quite interesting. but Mr Market looks stalled ahead of Mr Powel's remarks and potential summer doldrums. Of course it could only be temporary... or not.

People looked at that and said yeah well the chips you have will be old in a couple years so there’s a short runway here.

  • woodman: @Bert953 $CRWV - it's been looking good ever since it moved above the 8dEMA in late April in the low $40s. My first buys were in the $41-$43 range when it moved above the 8dEMA. It hasn't given back the 8dEMA since then. If one simply used that as his or her guide, they'd have caught this entire ride and still be in. I sold some a few times around a core, but frankly I'd have done better just holding the entire time and adding whenever it came back to the 8dEMA, which is what I ended up doing after my last attempt to sell some around the core in mid May.

  • joelsg1: @djgustoso $CRWV $NBIS I've been in/out $NBIS with mostly positive results, it got crushed a few days ago on a $1B convertible note issuance, proceeds used to buy, you guessed it, $NVDA GPUs, but the conversion price like $MSTR's was 40% above the current stock price, so all good. Good luck with June calls, I saw but missed the switch from $CRWV but looking to buy $NBIS if another pb.
  • joelsg1: $CRWV I am not doing this trade, yet, but I noticed that the deep itm June '26 $50 LEAPS were going for less than the intrinsic value of the stock price. Theoretically, since you can exercise an American-style call option anytime befor the expiry, one could buy the LEAP, essentially renting the stock for free, and if it bounces exercise and then sell the stock for no carrying cost.

  • joelsg1: $NVDA Owns 7% of $CRWV, now worth $4B. Jensen Huang speaks next at GTC Paris 6/11 5am et. Export controls are a bargaining "GPU" with China (pun intended) and Jensen is pushing idea that it is better for China to build on $NVDA tech stacks than create its own though of course they would do both. Could breakout above $143 by speech. Btw, these long term nuclear power deals with hyperscalers like today's $META-$CEG disprove the narrative that $NVDA's growth is unsustainable.
  • Bert953: #MrMarket been away from computer over last 2 days. Yesterday was a run, then reversal. Then the reversal reversed and ran up into the close. Looks like today is a strong day despite Elon 's tweet calling the big beautiful (pork sandwich) bill "a disgusting abomination". Some mild selling going into the close. Tomorrow's a new day full of endless possibilities and of course pitfalls. Gotta love the move in $CRWV. Hoping for a pullback or at least a doji tomorrow to build a large position.

I still own the corresponding and lower strike long calls which I will probably exercise next Friday if the stock behaves from now to then. Reminder that sometimes short or 'borrowed' positions are removed from your control.
