- PhilHarmonic: @RichardinME $META The answer to your question is NO. It depends on the quality of buyers and sellers which differs on any given day.
- phgruver: @RichardinME $META Hard to say, but it is 20% above the 200DMA, with no obvious catalyst to drive it higher. The 50dma isn't particularly relevant, but I would be looking for a pullback, probably to the lower Bollinger Band, for an entry or an add.
- RichardinME: @phgruver $META Thanks to both you and Phil! Probably will get a better entry especially if the tape gives a little. And it's so far above support the path of least resistance seems to be down. Even if we make ATH's in the QQQ's, there are other places where the money will be allocated.

Will be watching stock price to see market reaction. Meta Platforms' (META) Connect 2024 conference is here and investors will be watching CEO Mark Zuckerberg's keynote speech starting at 1 PM ET. He'll share his vision for AI and the metaverse, as well as the newest product announcements ahead of third-quarter results due next month. CNBC is already talking about what they do in November and December. And, of course, Cramer prognosticated earlier today that a 50 bps cut would be great for tech. - RichardinME: $META If this can break 425, it should have no trouble making an ATH. If $NVDA moves to 140, this should help it with $QQQ make an all time high. Don't know why anyone is not even looking at this.

It will definitely have an outsized influence on all these indexes. We just don't know which way it will go. It's a total waste of time trying to anticipate what's going to happen. Watch the charts and react to the price/volume action AFTER $NVDA reports.

I smelled a selloff .$META , now how will the news of Zuckerberg now admitting Biden Admin pressure him to censor Covid info (which he didn’t he claims ) and also to censor Hunters laptop info which he said he did. Probably no effect on stock as FB had people hooked like a drug . No wonder-so many kids are out of shape and luny yet in shape old fashion masculinity is taboo .

- StockMarketMentor: $META is dropping pretty hard this morning. Our stop is still about $4 bucks below the current price. However, the stock is not acting the way I thought it would, so I'm ditching the trade and taking it off the ATI list. Sorry this isn't working out. --Dan
- DAN: $META is looking a bit frisky this morning. Still below $140, but the low is higher than yesterday's low, which was higher than the prior day's low...which was higher than the previous day....which was higher than the day before that! So, we are seeing 4 consecutive days of higher lows, which is a really positive sign for the bulls. Again, still below $540, but it should definitely be on your radar. I have a couple of option positions on it, but they are pretty small and go out until September 20th. Profitable, but nothing to crow about. --Dan
