- CdrJake: $QGEN finally sold my shares in a great company, due to take over by Thermo Fisher... (+139%) Take out price was 39 euros per share, on German market, and with 1.08 conversion rate, shares in dollars should be 42.12. Price was oozing up since announcement in March, but suddenly popped to 42.24 today.. so time to exit before the buyers realize the company's been sold. (Can the Composite Man be asleep at the tape?) (TD Ameritrade had no record of the takeover, they seem to be asleep, too). And if there is another bidder, so be it.

Still in from yesterday. Started out as 59 min. trade but morphed into different trade early in the AM. Came across this article in Street Insider that may explain the situation (story-wise) the stock is in.
