- oldtimer: using @Dan simple formula on TC2000 of above the 200ma, above the 50ma above the 21ma and above the 8ma in the Nasdaq 100 there are three stocks . .$ATVI, $AMGN, $SGEN per my screen. the DOW has one $AMGN, S&P has 16. $PKG, $WDC,$AIZ, $CF, $CBOE, $MOH, $MCK, $TXT, $WRK, $HAL, $ACGL, $XOM, $PSX, $ATVI, $AMGN, $REGN Slim Pickings
- RoderickKnoll: @scottrades $WRK Hi Scott: I would be interested to know your thoughts about best practices in bailing out of a stock that has gone parabolic then slowed down. I sold to close this morning a call on $wrk for just shy of a double. Bought in late January. Parabolic moves concern me, having made recent round trips on $TLRY, $CGC and $NOK. Round trips are terrific in air travel, not so much for us traders! Thanks much.
- scottrades: @RoderickKnoll $WRK Hey Roderick! First off congrats on a great trade. You want to be able to hold some of this position as it trends higher but not let some of your gains slip away. I've found that trading in 1/3s helps me do this. After a stock is up 20% or more, I need to sell at least 1/3 of my position to lock in some money. It keeps me in the game but not complacent. Consider selling 1/3 of your holdings and then let the rest work. If it starts closes below the 8EMA, sell more. I'll cover this stock for you tonight in my video.

- Forexpro: Re: $OI Hi, Friends, I was looking at a stock that came up in a scan ($WRK), and was comparing it to some other stocks in the materials sector. Missed this one; after putting in a high, it pulled back in textbook fashion to a point midway between the 38.2 and 50 percent retracement levels, and is now moving higher again. The expected move would be a retest of the previous high, or something close to it, but having missed the ideal entry, I'm disinclined to chase now. Plenty of other charts. Nonetheless, this is one that I intend to keep half an eye on. Here's hoping that your day has gone well; all the best!

- DAN: @crash1son $WRK $KMX $TSN Hi crash. KMX -- looks like it has potential to me. $100 is the top now. $TSN also has potential, though it's still a bit sloppy. But it is in a prevailing uptrtend. $WRK is, as I see it, a really good stock for 2020. Has been under accumulation for most of the year and now starting a new uptrend. That would be my fave of the stocks you mentioned.

- Bridget: @debeers $WRK I like the look of this chart. All signals point to higher prices. I see 8DMA over 20DMA over 50DMA over 200DMA and slowly moving higher. I'm assuming you are looking for a longer term hold since this doesn't typically move quickly. Also, because of this I would build your position over time.

Liked the company and its profile WestRock Company, incorporated on March 6, 2015, is a multinational provider of paper and packaging solutions for consumer and corrugated packaging markets. The Company also develops real estate in the Charleston, South Carolina region. The Company's segments include Corrugated Packaging, Consumer Packaging, and Land and Development. The Corrugated Packaging segment consists of its containerboard mill and corrugated packaging operations, as well as its recycling operations. The Consumer Packaging segment consists of consumer mills, folding carton, beverage, merchandising displays, and partition operations. The Land and Development segment is engaged in the development and sale of real estate primarily in Charleston, South Carolina. This is much better than the others in its space. DAN actually made me think of it when he referred to all those cardboard packages landing at his front door.
