But I also noticed that $AMD was around current levels in OCT of 2023 and more than doubled in six months to reach an ATH. Any thoughts on this being a low-risk long-term investment that could double in 6 to 12 months?

- traderbren: @RichardinME $AMD - I wouldn't touch it here. I traded it yesterday for a bounce trade ...but just for the day. It's a broken stock & chart for now, but it you want to take a ride, I would set an alert at 112.12 as you might catch a gap fill trade to close the upside gap at 114.79. If you are looking for a more long-term investment, wait for it to clear the 50dma at 125.25 but you still have the 200d overhead which is not what you want. The stock (and the chart) needs to provide you with a set-up which you don't have right now. Hope that helps.
