I'm sure the RAIDERS playing the GIANTS and JETS back to back weekends ...should help numbers a little for the Quarter .. its always Good having a LOAD of Gambling New Yorkers in Vegas..... I started a trade on $WYNN this morning after the overreaction to E/R ...
- champ: @wijimmy $CZR $MGM $WYNN ....Yes many can't wait for Football weekend, to kick-start, kick-off Football week....and all of our troops, through-out the world, are placing their Bets, 24-7,...without drinking any Buds.....thats for sure...... ....and my guess after #New-Years-Eve is....$CZR will be on top of the $$$ winners-list, in Vegas and my Bet is, they will be up 50% from $41.60 ....because they are the largest player in Vegas and also in the U.S., with #O-risk in China/Mecca....... ....so this year I'm #betting on that USA team....$CZR, to win that Vegas Casino bet, for the 4th quarter this year....because they own the most properties/locations in Nevada and also in the U.S.. Good Luck!

- champ: $CZR....HOD...really strong.....and Now so is $MGM, because it looks like in is Now on a #Pre-earnings move, because they should also beat on Earnings...and they will be reporting on Wednesday, 11/8/after the close. Real nice Green stairs on both, on the 5-minute chart....... and the Holiday-Season, that they are in Now, is a huge earnings quarter for Casinos.....because of huge Football weekends and the Super Bowl, are in this current quarter. Game-on Risk-on, Watch for Entries before they run away, for Hold and Build investment positions.

- ray: @champ $MGM #Pre-earnings One caution about $MGM is the probable impact of the Culinary Union strike of Las Vegas Strip properties. The union have had talks with the casinos, and reports are that they did not go very well. Reuters has an article about walkouts on casinos in Detroit last week (including MGM, Penn Entertainment and others). I have had success with $MGM in the past, but I'm sitting on the sidelines until more clarity on the impact (or a settlement) is available.

- kenb: @champ $DKNG $PENN $CZR $MGM #News #Thanks one of the CNBC talking heads mentioned the idea that BarStool sports didn't fit in with the Disney hallmark image, so it is conceivable that the ESPN deal was contingent on them getting rid of Portnoy since he didn't fit the Disney lifestyle. Like a Hanna Montana before she became Miley Cyrus. I'm sure Dave Portnoy made out well to go away, and I'm not sure of the divestiture details. It could be $PENN retains a piece of BarStool investment.

- ray: @BarryC Hi Barry. Hope you had a good trip with the family. Did Vegas seem crowded with visitors? Some members of our family went to a casino closer in Oklahoma in the middle of this past week and were surprised how crowded it was, both with families with children around the pool areas, and in the gaming areas. A year ago at the same casino, it was very light crowds around the same time. I do have a small position in $MGM as part of my re-opening theme, so that is the backdrop partially on why I'm asking.

Also, we went to some of the best restaurants that Vegas has to offer and if ya didn't have a reservation, you couldn't even get in. I can tell you, you'd NEVER know we're heading into a recession just looking at Vegas, lol....

Usual (non-crypto) stuff; earnings forecast cut, CEO out, etc. Smacked fairly hard in the pre-, but it appears to be making an effort to stabilize. Mildly curious to see if 30 can hold. All the best! P.S. $WYNN, $MGM and $LVS are all benefiting from hopes that China's restrictions will be easing. According to MarketWatch.com some analyst from an outfit I've never heard of upgraded $MGM this morning. I'm neither less nor more excited. I've owned $LVS from time to time over the years, without any particular success.

YUP $MGM-capturing Chinese casinoa and the Strip $ULTA-the deal behind the deal: not only loyalty but oil going down which means that the profit in most cosmetics going up.Also, as the loyalty program expands even further (from the39million now) folks beinmg moved gently to MORE expensive skincare and cosmetics.

On $GBTC....I only have a 1/3 size, position left, on this Spec swing, after downsizing, with profits, Trailing, however as we all know, stops only work during market hours.
