- champ: @bigbartabs $SPXL $SPX $DJI $SPY $UDOW #Thanks...OK...got it on $UDOW, however I mostly always Trade off of positive News, like that #Powell-news, so I will watch $UDOW, along with my $TNA and $SSO positions and I'm also still holding $IBIT and $NUGT, for Now. ....and all are Bounce-Candidates, with the MarketsIMO, could be both for shot and long term now, because of that New...positive-Powell-news.. .....and $TNA, this small-cap ETF, is a #huge-lagger... and now appears to be spring-loaded and is only Waiting for the Markets, before it mades its next move and I'm looking at 2021, when it was at $114 and all the others are back at around their highs...$SSO, $UDOW and others. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ However I expect all kinds of zig-zags, as I wait, to add-onto my ETF positions.

Quote....rate-cuts are imminent, so it is a done deal now...because he can't go back now and change his mind. ....The market believers.. now believe, that the Markets should have a #Pre-Market-move, a short-term-move, into the next FOMC Rate Cut Decision, on September 18th, around 16 Trading-days from now........... ....Thats the current market Set-up and always have to expect zig-zags along the way............. ..........Swing Risk-on, Game-on, will see how it goes. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

- champ: $NUGT...at $50, still zigzagging higher...posted yesterday, to watch for a turn at $49...and it is hard to hold size in this sector...so I'm only holding 300 shares, for now....because I still want to have some exposer in this sector. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
- champ: $NUGT...could watch for a turn, at around $49.00 and is following the Daily Gold chart...could make a nice #U-turn....and direction in the short term is still positive but we never know...... .....and I did get back-in, for another Spec, I'm going to try ...to swing again, however my stop is at around entry, at $48.80....and direction is unknown.......... .....and my last swing position, I was in at $42.33. .....and today...HOD was at $50.94 and LOD was at $49.05. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The set-up is still about Interest-Rates and the Middle East........ ...just traders and they are active, we took profits this morning... but they will always chase that Pot of Gold, #if it starts another move. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ .............Bounce-Candidate..............

....and I'm aware that anything cou ... - champ: For now, I'm only 36% invested in the Markets and that % is working nicely, however my guess is, I will slowly keep adding, if the Markets lets me....and I might only add to existing positions, however that % does not count my Day-trades.....and I'm adding Day-trades to some of my Existing positions....and I would like to swing those also, if the Markets cooperates. $NUGT...is dancing around, this is my Middle East and Interest Rate Trade. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ....I'm only saying, that this is how this cautious-swing-Bull is working...FWIW. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

- champ: @oldmaratom $NUGT #Thanks......Maybe 7 or 8 out of 10...however for me...I always need to remember, that everything is only a guess, off of the Past, so there is No real reason to move Fast....but there are reasons to make Moves and Build, because...thats what we do and we don't want to get left behind...with only Bad-entries. ...So always...Be-aware, that we are #all CopyCat-buyers-and-sellers...... .......and the Computers are our #1-enemy....... because they trigger all of the zig-zags and also, all of the Buying and Selling. - RichardinME: @champ $NUGT #News-trade I don't think this all do to tensions. Gold/GLD have been in an uptrend for a while but have not been as rewarding as Equities and Crypto over the years. I think it goes higher based on the charts and weak dollar alone. I just wish I did not sell my $GLD OCT calls Wednesday after a CPI. For me it's harder to pay more for something two days later.

- champ: On $NUGT...my position size was just too large, so I took 65% off, with real nice swing profits....and that allowed me to swing my other 35%...... ....and I made this move, only because of #Risk-Management, so I had to down-size my swing position, even though this swing, has large swing-Profit-Insurance. ....I didn't want to take profits off...but this was because.... I have been around for a long time and I seen many lose their profits and even more than that, on large Gold swing positions....and then they just disappear. ~~~ However honestly, I have to say, that I had Risk-management voices in my head, that were screaming at me. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

- champ: @DavidK #High-alert....It will all depend on what happens, on what Iran does and Iran really can't do a lot....... or Israel will take out all of their top people and also all of their Nuclear facilities and everything else that makes their Military tick and also all of their Military, would also be hit, with Air power, plus 1,000 of Missiles, this will be a different type of war...however ground forces would also be used.......and Israel has been planning for this type of #defenses attack on Iran for years. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ For me....I'm holding $XOM $XOP and $NUGT $JNUG.....and I don't really know what else to do, for now..... ....plus all of this War-noise, is also #forcing me out of some of my other positions, not all yet, so I'm watching the #News, more closely now. They may work good for a short-term trade but in the end if you look at a 5 plus year chart of these and dozens of other suspects they all come down. Provided you don't get wiped out on a short covering

It seems with Defcon 1 US debt, and now with $1 Trillion in annual interest... gold just might be a good place to have a position. I've never been a gold investor... just a trader. Holding positions might now be in vogue.

Due for a pause but we're gonna be attacking the all time highs again very soon, I've bought multiple times in the last week and a half and I'm very overweight precious metals right now. #Trading: Long $NUGT $WPM $UNG $COIN, Short $SDS -Booked profit on $SDS and $NUGT this morning before the weekend -Had a $8 covered call on $UNG that will expire worthless -$UNG is just getting started, seasonality will be kicking in into the end of the year -Follwing @Scottrades with a $COIN starter #LTA: $DVN $FTI $FCX $NEM $GLD $SLV -Half positions in $DVN and $FTI. -$FCX reported good earnings but is still under pressure from decreasing demand in China for copper.

No system is perfect... but I've found that finding a process that matches up with what the majority / herd of seasoned traders stay within, is what you can depend on most. Finding that process is the key. The sad part is that it usually takes a lifetime to figure that stuff out! I've been trading for around 20 years now... and still feel like an idiot at times. Of those pairs that I tend to track $UNG/$BOIL $XLV/$CURE, $ITA/$DFEN, $XLRE/$DRN, $XLI/$DUSL, $XLE/$ERX, $XLF/$FAS, $FNGS/$FNGU, $XOP/$GUSH, $XBI/$LABU, $ITB/$NAIL, $GDX/$NUGT, $XRT/$RETL, $SMH/$SOXL, $XLK/$TECL, $XLY/$WANT ... only $XLE $XOP are close to being above the 8dema. Also, $UNG is tough, since it doesn't correlate well with 3x $BOIL I always track the 4 index pairs... $DJI/$UDOW, $SPX/$SPXL, $NDX/$TQQQ, $RUT/$TNA... of which none are even close to the 8dema. The only one that could be worth starting a position is $DJI, that bounced off of the 200dma. All the best...

- maracom: Good morning all! Precious metals starting to heat up as we come to the end of interest rate increases, which could spell the end of the recent dollar rally. Not planning on adding any leveraged trades ($NUGT $GDX $GDXJ $WPM $GFI) just yet, but $GLD ...
- maracom: @DavidK $GLD @DavidK $GLD I have the same overall outlook as @Ray. I hold $NEM in my #LTA because it pays decent dividends to wait, of which there is A LOT of waiting, and I'll often sell covered calls to generate more income. I trade $SLV $NUGT $WPM $GFI as my main trading vehicles when precious metals start to look spicy (they are NOT at the moment, especially with the dollar rallying). The main reason to own it is as a geopolitical hedge (rather than an inflation hedge, as gold historically is uncorrelated with dollar inflation during early inflation cycles, but it catches up towards the end of the cycles as all hell breaks loose geopolitically). I'm a secular bull on copper and #wheel $FCX in my #LTA for this purpose as well.
