- Henry: $GS $MS $BAC $JPM $WFC $SCHW Big Banks released their Capital Comprehensive Review by the FED. Schwabie was the loser " Schwab’s calculated stress capital buffer (SCB) remains well below the 2.5% minimum, resulting in a SCB at that floor." The others did great. JPM $50 bil buyback and an 8 or 7% increase in the divy, GS with a 1/3 increase in the dividend! Increases all around for the others.
- scottrades: $WFC announced a huge buyback. They will spend 18% of the market cap of the company on shares.
- joelsg1: @scottrades $WFC They are still under an asset cap of $1.95T imposed by Federal Reserve in 2/18 in response to fake accounts scandal, so until that's removed, they can't expand their balance sheet and legally can't spend that money on anything else. Of course, the great thing about announced share buybacks is they don't actually have to complete them.
