I see an inverse head and shoulders pattern with a neck line from 5/17/22 through 5/1/23. AEM has closed above the neckline for the last 2 days. - scottrades: Good morning Team! Lots of green on the screen, fresh off Jamie Dimon’s letter, which was all the talk on Bloomberg this morning. I am still watching the move in $GLD playout, as the monthly chart has a nice C&H on it. When charts start looking good on the long term time frames, you have to pay attention to them. I’m watching $GDX, $WPM, $RGLD, $NEM, $AEM, and hold some $GOLD. Also watching for re-entries on $SMH Stocks like $ON $ALGM. I see a nice base on $TSM. $NVDA is still in trend. $AMD is back to the 8EMA. I’ve also been mentioning Defense stocks like $LMT and $AXON which have started coming out of their bases. I like $WPM as a play and I bought some today. Some of them are trading at a discount to their peers like $SAND. I also like $EGO which is trying to crest some Weekly resistance.
- debeers: Changed from #$NEM o $AEM after hours because i had never read the $AEM earnings reports. I didn't much care about that as long as gold was rising but i now know that $AEM is a better company for 3 reasons 1. p/e for $NEM is 40.69--whereas p/e for $AEM is 36.28 2. more important for a long term is that profit margin for $NEM is that 1.50 whereas $AEM has a profit margin 10.71 3.MOST IMPORTANT FOR ME IS THAT the last 3 earnings were misses for $NEM whereas $AEM beat all 3. i am truly sorry. 4. i want to have a long time position in gold
