  • champ: @DavidK $CZR ....I used to go...but haven't been there for over 30 years, used to see all the fights and play golf........I even saw that Leonard and Hearns fight in 1981....great fight and Leonard won in the 14th round after being behind up to the 12th round....... .....everybody was in Vegas for that fight....everyone you could think of was there, you name them and they were there, it was really something to see.....I always stayed at Caesars and I saw everybody, eating and gambling....... ....and Sylvester Stallone was in his prime, I walked in with him and he looked like an Italian Stallion for sure.....those were the good old days, without any doubt in my mind..... ....because Good Morning Vietnam was over, it ended in March of 1973, so everybody was having a good time again, for all of those years after, that mess.

According to Caesars, it lost out on a lot of money when the game went to overtime - a popular prop bet that paid about 9-1 odds.. ..Of the nine sportsbooks operating in New York, including Bally Bet, DraftKings, FanDuel ($FLUT), PointsBet, RWB, RSI and WynnBET ($WYNN), BetMGM and Caesars ($CZR) were the only two that lost money on the game.   • champ: @wijimmy $MGM....I was on the call yesterday and I also read that report .....and my guess is, this is more or less dead money for awhile....... ....and both Traders and Investors were not impressed at all with their earnings or their guidance....and this doesn't start to look good until maybe late 2024 or 2025....their expenses/ their overhead is just to high...and not any room for error. .... I took my profits before earnings and I had a small swing into ER , however I'm out now...because I don't want to be long-term. Might have a short term trade, in a strong-market, however the risk-reward is not there for me, IMO. I'm also out of $CZR...for the same reasons....because their overhead is also just too high....and they both make a lot of money... but their expenses are huge, per $MGM earnings report. LOL

I'm also holding positions in $CZR and $DKNG.
  • champ: $CZR...Caesars is HOD at $45.40 and LOD was at $43.57....and this move this morning is because the #Nevada-Gaming-Board reported that the December gaming numbers were up again and on the Vegas-strip the wins were up 11.2%, up $905.06 million and for the state of Nevada the wins were up $1.432 billion.

  • Lou: While I would like to go into the weekend with some cash in my market accounts, it isn’t going to happen. I’m fully invested, I like everything I’m holding, all of my equities are green today with minor exceptions of $VKTX, $WFRD and $CZR (which I don’t want so sell), and I don’t want to incur margin debt. Unlike others, I’m a firm believer in letting profits run, so I don’t take some off because a position is profitable. I’d rather do that if I see a reversal and stops get hit. So I may as well call it a day/week. On that note, enjoy the weekend all.
