  • champ: @Pcdentist $DFEN --- I'm swinging my positions, I took profits on all my energy names, before my post on those trades...but I'm still holding $KMI in that sector...and $DFEN $CLX $MOS $BAC $WFC $DENN $GVA $$CMC $FRTA $OSB $HDS...and New today with $CARR. ......Took profits on all my other positions. Looking at others for Monday and all sells, are always possible add-backs. ......Day-Trading...$SSO and $FAS.

Because that OPEC telecom meeting is tomorrow and in Saudi Arabia, the current time is 9:50 PM...they are ahead of NY, eastern time. I also added to a few of my Oil positions....$FANG $CVX and $XOM...and I'm also still holding $NBL $KMI and $OXY. ......Plus I'm still holding $BAC $DFEN $DENN $MOS $HDS and my infrastructures positions... $CMC $ROAD, $FRTA $GVA and I'm Day-Trading other stocks. .....The Senate just OK'd the add-on Bill.. for $250 more New $$$'s for small-business, but Congress is demanding more new $$$$'s...so another Cat fight, is also on the way.

That flag/ volatility squeeze around the 50ma looked good. .however earnings were right there.. Had to jump in quick after earning as I see it..No I have to wait for a pull back. Off the weekly or 5 yr.. Golly what a beautiful trend.. I had liked that volatility squeeze on the weekly back during the summer ..But yet again earnings seemed to be the catalyst that got it going.. For me it just feels like one i missed.. However it is umm affordably priced under $12.

Limit order ; stock could run away from you; you might consider buying a starter size position now and add on pullback; all or none is very tough to do; if stock keeps running at least you have some ; if it pulls back then you can fill out you intended position size.
  • GreenGhost: $DENN posted on this one last night (includes trade thesis) and earlier today; bought shares on opening rotation; stock is breaking to upside here out of a very tight vol squeeze and is up 4% today on some very elevated volume the last 3 days which really isn't waning yet. Catalyst was kick butt earnings and guide. And they have that 55 and over senior discount. I'm in.

  • GreenGhost: $DENN breaking out of very tight squeeze on big volume last 2 days ; new 52 week high; almost all longs are winners. Big turnaround story by mgmt. Ate there as test pilot/ guinea pig on Wed; OMG place was clean ; service was good and food didn't even hurt my stomach one hour later. I'm a buyer right at the open on Friday. Even have a mobile app menu and a new senior menu ( 55 so I qualified LOL) Most importantly, it's meal plus 24 hours and I'm still alive.   • emi: $DENN - we went to a Denny's in Tustin, California. It was dumpster food. I emailed the company saying that the salad was old, the kid food was old, the whole thing was disgusting. We will never go to a Denny's again. I wouldn't touch the stock with a ten foot pole. Shall I tell you what I really think about DENN? (Sorry!)

  • sleepyf18: Dean...if you're looking at restaurant stocks, I see that $YUM, CHUX, $BAGL, $CAKE, $DPZ, and $DENN all have nice little bull flag patterns setting up or just breaking out of. Of those, all but CHUX and $BAGL have good daily volume if that matters to you. CKR has been consolidating for almost a month at the 200dma while the others appear poised for breakouts with defined risks.
