- traderbren: @spmeyers $FANH - agreed, that is a "shot across the bow" given yesterday's volume, but its been a volatile week to say the least. My entry was based on the push above the 50d & 200d, along with defining my risk with the stop below the moving averages. We'll see if it can close above the 20d.

Would welcome thoughts, ideas, recommendations from all here as I respect everyone’s thoughts and ideas. The big question is whether to liquidate all, tighten stops or just stand pat ahead of the w/e.

Like the chart and that it has filled the 3/12-3/13 gap. $MOMO - Busted out of a flag pattern today. Has been on a tear since its 5/29 E/R beat and guidance. Long stock.

Will keep a wider stop this time. $DOCU - re-entered prior to the close following last nights E/R, entry @ $58.14, 1/4 position. $ETSY - stoped out at the open and re-entered just prior to close. Small position that I will add to if we get a green candle Monday. $TWTR - re-entered @ $41.19 just prior to close. I sold my call options 6/5 when it was added to the S&P 500. Long stock this time, starting position. $FANH - entered today @ $31.68. Was a little late, hadn’t moved when I did my first. Chart scan this morning. Lesson learned: always seat an alert! Starting position that I’ll add-to on follow-through next week.

- DAN: $FANH -- I started a position in $FANH. I was lucky enough to grab this stock on the early November squeeze breakout, but exited the position when it peaked a few weeks ago. The stock has pulled back and consolidated. It's making a stealth move that started yesterday. Pretty illiquid, but if you look at yesterday's volume, it was much higher than prior days. Because of the illiquidity, I view this trade as a bit more risky. I've got to keep a relatively loose stop on it -- about $19.95 works for me. (If you consider the % of risk on the stop placement, you'll realize how loose it is). --Dan

It has saved me from a LOT of bad trades. $FANH was a good trade today. I'm out of it now...and I was very ready to hold it longer...but it's a very large % gain in one day, and I'm happy to book the profit. If the stock pops up above $18.50 tomorrow, I'll start a brand new trade. 8-)
