- jonwest88: $HAS Breaks above Jan and May highs, attains new 52 wk high. Q2 Adj. EPS $1.05 Beats $0.48 Estimate, Sales $1.32B Beat $1.17B Estimate. Franchise brands revenue increased 72% and Wizards revenue grew 118%, led by "MAGIC: The Gathering" and "Dungeons & Dragons." Consumer products revenue rose 33% to $689.2 million, above the FactSet consensus of $617.6 million. "Consumer products revenue increased as demand remains robust for Hasbro toys and games and entertainment revenue grew as we are producing entertainment with strong deliveries," said Chief Executive Brian Goldner.
- jonwest88: $HAS has been a "c.d" alternative for me since 2014. On my original shares I received 3.2%. Since then the dividend has increased 71%. I sold 1/2 in 2019, bought back in March 2020. Current div = 2.7%. Technically and fundamentally $HAS looks better now than a few years ago. I'm just sentimental for Mr Potato Head, Nerf and Monopoly. $HAS puts out all the $DIS character toys, and the grandkids are familiar with the movie and tv franchises of My Little Pony, Peppa Pig.

- jonwest88: @scottrades $HAS finally takes out its post crash high from early June. Long base on $HAS. Holding has been like watching paint dry during the humid season. Held this one LT years ago, started selling it off in 18 and 19. I bought a chunk back during the crash, it was yielding about 5% then. Also, Disney and Marvel franchised characters, toys, games, classics, digital downloads, seemed to be more in demand during the stay at home phase. Problem they had was in getting product, which has been fixed. Still $HAS is a snoozer. Good div though
- lostsheep: @gwenzee #Markets Positioning $AAPL is probably a little ahead of the rest in terms of the chart moment. But the $SPY $MSFT $AMZN $TMUS $AMD..... all look the same. Take your pick macd cross turning up on all. Down trending channels broken and price pushing above the 20 with the 50 in tow offering some rising support. The fed will stay on the gas and stimulus bill will get pushed through which both parties will want credit for and allow some more disposable free income to funnel into the system especially around the holidays for new I any things and $HAS toys. TINA rules and money never sleeps. IMHO

- Aragorn: @Bridget $HAS I shorted it Bridget made out well still coming in but again I shorted it too soon. I need to check my emotions at the door and trade like a level headed person. I posted earlier that this needed above 81 to change it's trend and it has done so. It looks really strong, not a short but intraday it was but the profit takers, $CI also reversal intraday was a good trade but I was tied up in HAS short until it started to work. $WHR also a reversal and profit taking but when you are in a losing trade and focused ont hat nothing else can be traded the way I trade. Too much focus. Anyway I am looking forward to earnings season and hopefully some volatility. This was a slow day for me until later
