- Lightbulb: If $PL can close at or near the high today, anyone have a read on it's potential next week? I don't want to get in on a triple witching Friday, but curious on thoughts for next week?
- woodman: $PL - Wow! I didn't have the courage to buy it for earnings, though I saw a similar move last earnings in Sept and considered it. A 35% drop, on the other hand, would have been a day ruiner. All that said, if you look back to last time, it kept running thereafter for over a month.

- woodman: $PL - earnings 12/10 amc. This had a 48% move higher the day it reported last Q, then kept going another 75% more from there over the next 30 days. Since then, it pulled back significantly (about 37%), but has been creeping higher again, now back to the overhead 50d. Makes for an interesting earnings gun-slinger move potential for all you cowboys and cowgirls. Np currently.

- woodman: $PL - this one had a helluva run for a month after reporting on 9/8. Since 10/8, it has pulled back. I bought a small (forget-me-not) position and am watching for a reversal back up. Volume isn't encouraging, however. We'll see.

- woodman: The Space/Rockets/Satellites (Communications) continue to hold up well. I am long $GILT $GSAT and $ATRO (which is in a lot of industries). No position in $PL which is still working. Also $SATS (np) is extended and BBs still coming in, but one to keep an eye on (it's moving above the 8dEMA with stronger volume today, but not so sure it's ready to go again yet).

Similar for $ATRO at the 8dEMA after a decent pulback. $UFO, the eft, holding up well. $BKSY, which I mentioned earlier (and started a position at a low risk spot here), is peeking above the 8dEMA. $PL red today, but it was a big earnings move. $SATS falling through the 8dEMA. Others have been in the dumps but just moving above the 8dEMA again (but still under longer duration moving averages): $ASTS $RDW $VOYG $LUNR (also above 21dEMA now) $DXY (etf) and $SPCE (just for good measure to round out the group, but which I've never really had any interest in).

Needs to decisively bust into the $13s and not look back (good room to move higher if it does).

Besides $RKLB $BKSY $ASTS and $RDW in this group, there are a couple others worth watching that aren't mentioned much/at all around here. $PL has been a strong performer. $LUNR is consolidating along the rising 50d and just below the 200d. I have no position in LUNR, but want to keep an eye on it.

In the first quarter, Planet Labs posted breakeven adjusted earnings per share on revenue of $66.3 million. Analysts polled by FactSet sought a loss of 4 cents per share on revenue of $62.3 million.

- Forexpro: @NapoleonSolo Thanks, NapoleonSolo, Maybe, since I"m not seeing anything else except some analyst presentations, but all of the names that I mentioned are in a different league than is $PL. $PL's market cap is $5 bn and change; $TRV weighs in at $31 bn, $PRU at 45 bn, $MET at $61 bn. I'm not seeing much in the way of news, either; the good stuff (ECB, Non-farms) comes later in the week. $PL is 61 bid after closing on Friday at 52.30 in response to a reported takeover bid by Japan's Dai-ichi Life. It's quite nice to be the bank (normally, the lead investment bank) that gets the order to handle the related foreign exchange option and cash trades. http://tos.mx/QLe4Gi All the best!

- rhollyer: $GOOG If margin is a concern, then sell the 500 strike put and buy a lower strike put such as the 420 to create a spread. For example the Feb 420 has an ask price of 0.25. That shouldn't have much of an effect on your $PL, but it noticeably decreases the margin requirement.

Found on fidelity they have Institutional movement this Qtr vs. Last Qtr. I ran a screen with the following parameters: Mkt Cap>$750M - % Inst. ownership current qtr vs. prior qtr<-20% - % Inst. Ownership>50% - Price>$12.00 Here are the results: = Net change in ownership this Qtr $UFS -948% $FAS -285% $OIH -58% $KBE -50% $XLV -39% $XLF -38% $IBB -36% $VFC -32% $XLE -29% $ALGT -24% $GMCR -21% What surprised me is most of these are still moving up.
