$PRIM In trend, support at the 21 EMA
    $FANG Holding the 8EMA

In Cryptoland we have a “potential” this week in the Grayscale case…we’ve been waiting with baited breath and keep getting disappointed. We also have an opportuni ...

  • vitoB: @DAN ...$PRIM
  • spmeyers: $PRIM phase 3 move, earnings Feb 22
  • bRobert: $PRIM Nice pop on double normal volume. High earnings/revenue growth. Nice base and weekly
  • vfr777: @DAN $PRIM do you see a head and shoulder on this stock? With the neckline at $22?
  • DAN: @vfr777 $PRIM Not really a H&S to me, vfr777. I understand what you're looking at, but the stock just seems like it's in a higher trading range than last year. Very volatile. With that said...there is support at $22. The challenge with PRIM is that it is very illiquid. So one determined buyer or seller could change the entire chart.

  • debrup: Volatility squeezes: $FLIR TCO $PRIM @TRH $URRE GGP $XRX DLR $AMZN MSI $IGTE LXP $RP ADSK $CSOD some names that look interesting here.
  • Hawk327: $PRIM Good morning, Currently, I have a winning position in $PRIM but it looks like it may be running out of steam. Then I look at other names in the sector, heavy industry construction, $FWLT, $JEC, $FLR, that all seem to be showing strength off of basing. Any thoughts on this for early cycle sector?
  • debrup: Volatility #Squeeze scan: @TRH QNST $RP LXP $PRIM XRX $DLR SKH $SON TRLG $TCO MSI $TIBX URRE $CNW FLIR $WBSN KTOS - I haven't posted these since August, because I haven't seen any good setups till now because of the high volatility in the market. Last week was the first week I started trading properly again after many months where I found it hard to recognize a trend in the market and stocks. Hopefully normality has returned to the market judging by a lover VIX and Less big gap ups and we can start making money with technical analysis again. Have a great weekend.
  • Diana2010: $PRIM # has a similar basing pattern to $CTXS and just started to break out the last couple of days. RSI amd MACD were trending up during the basing period. Volume on up days over the last week or so has been greater than usual. The company recently raised their #dividend and the company president, @Brad Pratt said that they did it because of their confidence in their long term growth and ability to generate free cash flow. I started a position yesterday and I will add to it soon.
  • steveingeneva: $PRIM - Massive support in the recent past at this level. Risk defined at 11.76 or so. Small pos.
  • Hawk327: $PRIM FLR Good morning, I have a position in $PRIM and monitoring $FLR in sympathy for sector. It looks like a pretty good set up. $FLR looks to have put in a base and moved up. Some consolidation. 20dma is pointing up now and 50 looks to be turning. $PRIM looks better looks to be holding at short term support. Looks to be a low risk entry. Any thoughts?
  • ogas: $PRIM - @Hawk327 Last night I made the decision to add to my $PRIM position today. I agree, it appears to be a low-risk entry.
  • mikeo561: $ANH , $PRIM -- Added about a 1/4 position to both at 7.28 and 13.00 respectively. Thanks for the analysis @Dana; you are way too kind.
  • kaliper: $PRIM Have mentioned this several times, hope others are involved with this. @Dan pointed it out once a number of weeks back and it has been one nice ride and one great chart since. Dived right to the 20 day ma this morning to provide a solid definition of risk for new positions. Really really like what I see here!!!
  • kaliper: $PRIM @Dan mentioned $PRIM awhile back and it's had one of the sturdiest charts out there ever since. New high today at $13 on positive fundamental developments, well worth a look.
  • fstern601: $PRIM - Is anyone entering or holding this issue on today's pullback. Any perspective in the Forum would be appreciated. @Dan covered this technically. The fundies also look pretty good.
  • Arie: $PRIM - Watching, but I won't enter with todays action. All too negative.
  • dkt: $PRIM - Near completion of Phase II pullback on low volume to $12 prior breakout level. A bounce could suggest the beginning of a Phase $III up move. This stock was featured in @DAN's 5/31 Free Chart video.
  • Hawk327: $PRIM I've been long this for a little while (few months) so have been watching pretty close. The stock has held up well when the market sells of. The chart seems to look good, has not gotten ahead of it self. I know I read up on it when I bought. Didn't see any red flags then. Can't be very specific now. Noticed some accumulation by insiders.
  • kaliper: $PRIM THis is a stock @Dan mentioned a while back that is performing extremely well. Definitely worth pointing out if it hasn't been already (busy life keeps me away from the Forum too often!).
  • Hawk327: $PRIM Think this was mentioned in the forum a while ago. This stock is working. It's been doing a nice stair pattern climb and is just broke resistance around $12. long PRIM
  • mikeo561: $PRIM -- @Hawk327 - glad you mentioned this. I got in back in April but got shaken out of half of the position on a couple of dips I didn't like. Then as May started, I really had to hold my nose. But after the little touch of the 50-day moving average, I grabbed a little more. Happy I did for now; up 7% right now. Not as much as some of the more experienced traders in the forum, I'm sure. Thanks @DAN for the @charting / stock market mentoring; and to you Hawk for mentioning PRIM. Long $PRIM (for now). Have a GREAT weekend folks.
  • dmorse: $PRIM - just keeps on working
  • captron: $PRIM - Whats up with this stock.I have been waiting patiently to get in. Guess I am going to have to apply @Dan's rule of 3rds.
  • sweeper240: $PRIM - Would you buy here... ? assuming you are already long. ?
  • DragonFly: todys primer - green - wish I had bought VHC. Bought $PRIM instead, not as good but did make some $. Just not enough money to buy everything. Sad.
  • DragonFly: $PRIM - working it way up the ladder.
  • DragonFly: $PRIM - Am I the only one trading this puppy?
  • ww: $PRIM - I am still riding this one. Adjusting my stops to the prior day low.
  • DragonFly: $PRIM - go baby go Raising stops.
  • qwert: $PRIM - perking up pre market up yesterday on good vol
  • MultiMill: $PRIM - I'm long as of yesterday, but I don't see any evidence of it being up pre-market. I'm looking at ToS and Fidelity ATP. Where are you seeing this information...I hope you are correct...let's ride it up.
  • qwert: $PRIM - i see on td it traded 400 shares @10.25
  • qwert: $PRIM - stopped out 10
  • richard9f: $PRIM Just noticed this is owned 71% by insiders. Float is 22.8m shares but avg daily vol is 82k shares. Wouldn't take much instit buying to get this to pop.
  • DragonFly: $PRIM - time to make it's move!
  • DragonFly: $PRIM - go $PRIM Go. I may turn this one into a long term holding. Is that legal?
  • dcrowley3: $PRIM - Anyone own this? What is up with the large volume spike just a bit ago? Does someone know something? I am long. Any opinions/suggestions?
  • kathleen: $PRIM - I am long also. On daily chart there was a #squeeze and volume spike around 2:30.
  • MultiMill: $PRIM - I don't own it, but I did have an alert go off on that spike. @Dan mentioned this on 3/26/11 or 3/27/11 (weekend). Growth = 31%, P/E = 13%, so good PEG.
  • mpathee77: $PRIM I'm in since Monday, keeping a fairly tight stop.
  • scottdipietro: $PRIM - Just got home from work to see that $PRIM stuck its head up at the end of the day. I bought a starter on Tuesday, Is this a sign to add?
  • investorterry: $PRIM Bought Tuesday as well. With @Dan yelling idiot last night, and my uncertainty about the end of the quarter, and hesitant to hold a stock over the weekend, and $PRIM having two big green candles (3 day rule), I am hesitant to add #rhrn. If it gets through Friday and looks good monday AM I will probably add then. I put a 2% trailing stop loss on what I have.
  • DragonFly: $PRIM - moving up the BB ever so slowly........
  • lovablechak: $PRIM, $SMT - I am still holding these 2 stocks...the position is very small...looking to hold them...can someone advise on where to put the stop or how to trade these? Thanks in advance.
  • DragonFly: $PRIM - Anyone in this one still? How can it be I always choose the wrong stock to trade with all the good ones that @Dan offers?
  • Henry: $PRIM I seem to take all @Dan's under performers too. Missed this one tho' Schwab is showing this stock only has only traded 1800 shares by 9:53. Too thin, I suggest you make an appointment to sell yours.
  • dlylis: $PRIM - something is wrong here. I was surprised when I saw your post as $FSC shows that it gapped up at the open and was trading at 9.89. I went to a Fidelity chart and SAME TICKER, it is down.
  • DragonFly: $PRIM - Hasn't moved all morning. Still down .01. Oh wait now down .04
  • DragonFly: $VHC - put some of that money in $PRIM and make it move!
  • jamesg: $PRIM - It went X-Div today and it's pulled back a bit. @Dan said on the video that $PRIM has good fundamentals I checked them out and now I'm trying to buy some.
  • EZ-ED: $PRIM - weekend stock watch update mentioned $PRIM as 'Rhapsody Acquisitions'. I find $PRIM as 'Primoris Services Corporation' and Rhapsody Acquisitions as a BB stock 'RPSD' unless I am not looking in the right place which is always a possibility.
  • dlylis: $PRIM - I am finding the same thing, however, the Primoris chart in Yahoo matches the Rhapsody chart in Telechart. I think it is a Worden error as Fidelity agrees with Yahoo.
  • qwert: $PRIM - chart matches primoris ser co to weekend update chart
  • Chinc0teague: $PRIM - Company Overview (found at Business Week) As of July 31, 2008, Rhapsody Acquisition Corp was acquired by Primoris Corporation in a reverse merger transaction. Rhapsody Acquisition Corp. does not have significant operations. It intends to serve as a vehicle to effect a merger, capital stock exchange, asset acquisition, or other similar business combination with an operating business. The company was founded in 2006 and is based in New York, New York.
  • joanie: $PRIM - dippperrrr, @Dan mentioned that going ex-#dividend would make for a buying opportunity
  • eileff: $PRIM , SOA Time for confessions. How many members bought these stocks at the open? The volume on $PRIM is already equal to the average daily volume. Personally I am waiting for a pullback.
  • vscottg: $PRIM - joanie, I got the impression that div was not price significant. Next div is "only" .02 and div for year is "only" .10
  • joanie: $PRIM - vscott, maybe I misunderstood. I know he said that it was only pennies and goes out once a year but I was left with the impression that one could easily wait till tomorrow to buy but at some level I too was left with the impression that it wouldn't necessarily be a mistake to buy today if you wanted because the divi is so small .
  • vscottg: $PRIM - thanks joanie. I'm noob to this, but intuitively would not expect 0.2% to have that big impact. However, I also would not have expected the big gap up on large volume right at market open this morning either, after closing down on Friday. Learning to expect the unexpected. Guess that 2 cents is important to some large investor somewhere.
  • wachholder: $PRIM, will check on $PRIM tommorrow after ex-div date
  • jkricha: $PRIM - wachholder - is that .025 Quarterly $DE making the difference? That is some big cash!
  • wachholder: $PRIM, jkricha, I know seems silly, but 1% is still 1%, and it did manage to keep me from chasing today. OT: The market closed a little weak, good news is the volume was light, so it did not appear big $ were not doing a mass exodus, afterall it is end of the month window dressing. But today's action was odd and I made a big note reminding of this action as it may be one shot across the bow for this market in the near-term.
  • CGilman: I am a new member and apologize if my question is too simple. Just finished watching yesterday's stock watch video. If I understand this correctly, @Dan is giving new buy signals only for $PRIM and SOA? The remainder of the stocks are either to be held or watched? Thanks for any assistance.
  • karkn: CGilman, You might want to watch again. I need to myself. I have $PRIM, $NEU, SOA as #RHRN in my notes.
  • sendex: hi team, any one watching $PRIM, after a month long sideways trading, it is just poping up 50 DMA, target price is $9. Oil & Gas Services Sector. Any comments
  • naveedbutt: hi team, any one watching $PRIM, it looks like ready to pop up. Any comments
  • naveedbutt: hi team, any one watching $PRIM, just hiting to 50 DMA in a tigh #squeeze. taking a small position. it is oil & gas service sector. have a look
