- woodman: $SMMT - you'd think they cured cancer. Well, not quite, but it has bested the king - huge seller Keytruda ($MRK) which is coming to the patent cliff. - woodman: @marklesparkle $SMMT - I read that this weekend. Their data beats Keytruda, the 800 lb Gorilla that will lose its patent protectiong soon and is trying to find anything that it can combine with to that shows promise so as to extend its patent. (That's going to be a huge loss of revenue for $MRK.) While the SMMT data are obviously rocketing SMMT higher, I always wonder about data from China trials. Also, I can't recall, but itsn't it "selective" cohort data reporting (i.e. leaving some cohort data out while reporting on others)? I also can't recall the "n" value on what they reported (number of patients enrolled). Regardless, that's a helluva day for SMMT holders.

- issues: Comparing IBD group 3 biotechs $GNPX $NTGN $NVAX $SMMT $APTO: I like $NVAX best and bought 1/2 position. Also bought 250 shares (starter position) on SMMT with stop at $1.90. This is a good risk/reward! Lots to gain, not much to risk.
