$BMY Looks like a good chart but it's gone gone gone. J ... - issues: I was surprised at how many of the IBD 50 stocks were replaced! 23 out of 50 are new! That's half. I can't see any difference between the charts of those replaced with the ones they kicked off. There's no sense that I can see in the difference between the old and new. The only observation is the "new homes" were abandoned including TREX. And some of the tech were gone. For example these are new on IBD 50: $AAWW $BRO $BX $CLF $EPRT $EW $JBHT $JEF $LIN $MPW $MRVL $NFG $NMRK $PFE $PSA $QLYS $REXR $SF $SIVG $SPG $STE $VRTS $WGO. - JustJoe: @sierramp $STE thank you for that update. I've had a half position for some time now. Hoping for a melt up, but I'm also prepared for a melt down.
- sierramp: $STE has been consolidating for two months giving the D200 and D150 time to catch up. Currently it is just above D50 in a very tight squeeze. No idea which way it will breakout but fundies are good for this mid-cap. It doesn't report until Nov 7th.
- DAN: $STE -- low risk entry on STE for an early position. A stop just below $112 is a pretty tight stop. The stock is up about 15% above the 200-day moving average, which is a bit of a concern. It compromises the potential PROFIT from here...but I don' ...

- markinvests: Trading Platform - I currently use @Scott Trade Elite [STE](not so elite). My opinion is not particularly high of the research and analysis tools. $STE is cumbersome regarding drawing on charts, alerts and ability to scan for Trade Ideas - a proprietary subscription service with only limited help access; multiple clicks are required to maneuver within quote grids; inability to place trade notes within the program; many of the items are programmatic issues and promised changes for future upgrades. I do like and am appreciative of the HUMAN support. Trades are timely; the $7 execution is nice; and the overall ease of use is good. I am not sure it is the best platform for active traders who want to do research like @Dan presents. Personally, I am seeking a better platform and service. Something a little more dynamic with better screening tools. these are only my opinions.
