- champ: @joelsg1 $GTLS $LIN #think #Computerized-trading #trigger #CopyCat #Investors #Pre-earnings ...Short term this stock is going much higher .... ....and 4-days ago the stock was just at $138.65........ and the October high was at $160... ....and this stock could easily hit $150 in the short term. ~~~The 3 #most-recent upgrades were at $190, $205, $225 and like I posted $WFC was at $212 on 9/25, so this stock has plenty of room to make a nice move.
- champ: $GTLS at $125....#current-Price-targets.....on 1/8....$C came out and raised their price target to $205, from $200..... ....on 1/4, Raymond James came out and raised to a #Strong-buy, from outperform, with their current price target at $190...... ....also on 1/4, $JPM posted their price target at $167...... ....there was also a list of active Insiders in January and December, on 12/14, one was for another 500 share at $135.44, Linda S. Harty added and she is now holding 7,310........ Plus like I posted, there were other upgrades and I'm only going to post those price targets.....$212/$WFC and $225/HBHC Securities. This is a #journal into post for me, so I can see what was recently going on up-to this date.

- champ: Looks like the Markets are waiting for the earnings reports from the Banks on Friday... because they will be kicking off earnings.... ......and on Friday these Banks will be reporting theirs earnings....$BAC $BK $C $JPM $WFC....plus both of these large companies $BLK and $UNH....... and for sure, many Investors are waiting to hear what the Banks are going to be saying about the economy.
- champ: $GTLS at $130...here is a a little more info on this stock...... the high on this stock, 7 trading day ago, was at $142.20, on 12/28....... ....and it looks like this stock only dropped because of Tax-repositioning....because there wasn't any negative News, so in the short-term, this stock could easily move back-up to that price level. ....and the high in September was $184.65. ....$WFC on 8/9 upgraded this stock to #Overweight, with a price target at $224, they raised it from $162.

My problem is with management's communications, as the stock has cratered after announcing the Howden deal, last E and even the later Analyst Day where they guided only 15% CAGR. Long but they've got things to prove before I'll add above 200d.

I wanted to open a small savings account now that I'm retired and consulting at $WFC and there were 2 tellers in there only (don't know about upstairs) a guard that could hardly speak English and roughly 20 empty cubicles where all the loan and all people did business. I expect #more new upgrades after this new News gets fully-out, in the coming days and weeks.

- champ: $PBF....new #ATHigh, Breakout on new Upgrades..by $WFC, with a new price target at $64, they raised from $56....and other upgrades also, by $GS and $UBS, earnings not until 11/3.... ....still has room, might be able to chase and trail.
- champ: $MCD....$277.....upgrade to #Overweight by $WFC, with a price target at $310, has room, plus checks indicate Q3 comps are tracking ahead of expectations, so I'm going to park some $$$ here.
- champ: $ARRY....HOD...$23, Check-out this company and take a look at their Solar products that they sell to all of the construction companies, that are in the Solar sector. ~~~ $WFC upgraded after they had a nice beat on earnings, with a New price target at $31.

We fundie "whores" know that officers sell for many reasons and onl.y buy for 1 reason: they believe their stock will/should go up. Bettendorf is a lot smarter than i am. As i write this $SCHW is $59.58. $WFC today is up .84% $MS is up .37% $JPM is up .42% $SCHW is up 2.11% It reports on 7/18 and i'm holding thru.

In particular, services inflation, which tends to be stickier than goods inflation, played a primary role. I was long FAS off of the turn this morning and took profits at $59.40. Will I regret it tomorrow or will I be happy?

I would be cautious about holding individual banks over earnings, it's always a crap shoot, unless you are sitting on substantial gains (I'm up 110% on $BAC), but holding $FAS or $XLF might be a good strategic move, as they are not levered to any single bank. Overall, banks should benefit from rising interest rates. @Forexpro had a post explaining how this works earlier today.
