- Henry: @Henry $PLTR Fast Money was very negative on their evaluation. Seymour is the only one long and he said it is expensive.
- phgruver: @Henry $PLTR As @Dan keeps telling us, stocks that are expensive tend to become expensiver. $PLTR's P/E is 209, which is on the high side, but for a growth company, that's not a good measure. EPS growth is 58% and their PEG ratio is 3.63. ($NVDA has a PEG of 1.11, $MSFT is at 2.42) This is one you just have to ride until it bucks you off. It will, eventually, top out, but I don't think today was that top.....

- djgustoso: $BAH ATH my employer continues to make the right moves :) by far my largest position, but I can't seem to diversify away from it as it keeps going up! Don't be fooled, this is a very conservative company and they profit from government contracts (mainly defense) similar to $PLTR but have been in the game way longer (110 year history). Continues to be a buy and hold / HODL winner, and with geopolitical tensions high, I expect them to keep winning. Earnings coming up soon on 10/25 FYI. I have no insider information as a mid level cog in a 36000 employee behemoth company, but I have supreme confidence in my company's leadership FWIW Also it pays a 1.24% dividend yield, one of the few stocks out there that helps me sleep better at night, slow and steady but the weekly chart is a thing of beauty

- ZMan2: $PLTR Jim Cramer just referred to $PLTR as a Meme Stock. Meme stocks don’t get included in the S&P 500. On a prior occasion he referred to $PLTR as a black box. He obviously missed it & is in SOUR Grapes mode.

- Ben: I should qualify that I am looking at a daily chart even though I'm not a day trader. $PLTR is an example for today. It hit a 52WH and sold off looking like the downside of a peak in an orderly fashion until it started going sideways I'm not selling but this formation is not unusal. I'm only asking if there a "sell the news" thesis to this price action. Thank you.

- bigbartabs: @Ben $PLTR ... in this ticker's case... I would set an alert at the 8dema. If stays close, and goes back up... hold it, add some. If it drops below, sell half, and reset your low alarm at the 6/21 close (likely support if buyers are still buying on pullbacks). If it breaks the 20dma... sell the other half, reset, and start looking for a new position... maybe at the trough, 9/5 close 30.16. Below that, best reload is probably the 50dma. One man's opinion. Good luck...

It now takes me a month in spring, and a month in fall to keep our acreage with trimmed trees up 10 feet, the ground weed wacked, and my iPhone "Watch Duty" app primed for fire alerts. All the best Dan... fires like you have where you are, well, suck. Very stressful... hang in there... but be ready to leave if your gut tells you to.
