- DavidK: @Bert953 $NFLX I saw this last night . Bottom line the rationale some of these fast money traders used would equate to it’s ok to have porn on Tv just don’t let your kids watch it . As I have stated , these Wall Street scum bags would sell out their mother if they could beat her out of a drink at the bar . As I mentioned earlier in a post I had a few puts I sold at 15 this am ( cost was 6.40 ) . 1146 was my target for downdraft . Might get a trade up now as crooks try to unload some shares before it possibly continues down. Over valued and this Bud Light type moment not good for company . My personal opinion is the company’s products are nothing to write home about . You can watch most anything they have in their library ( mostly old stuff) on other streaming services .

In case you missed, as I did, NFLX is down 12% from it's recent ATH and embroiled in controversy over a show that sexualized pre-teen girls and a child oriented show about transexuals. The later is in reruns, but it's creator called Charlie Kirk a Nazi after he was shot. That doesn't go well with half the country. I intended this as a long term holding, but it's a Bud Light moment that we don't need.

I can still smell the acrid jet fuel and debris. I was depressed for months following ...and hold onto the memories of many folks that I knew that lost their lives in the towers.

- Henry: $MSTR Saylor shot himself in the foot when he came out with guidelines on when he would sell stock, vs preferreds and then flip flopped on those guidelines. Some of you who remember DVD's remember when $NFLX raised the price of the DVD service from $10 to $16 and @Dan railed about what an idiot Reed Hastings was? MSTR is having a similar moment and they don't really have a product to sell. They are depending on an infinite increase in price of BTC, but they have no control of that. One day they may sell at a big premium but I don't think it's going to happen this year even if BTC price turns around. Your funds would be of better use deployed elsewhere..

I have been rationalizing that I closed my trading position of MSTR, don't touch $MSTX, and that my MSTR that I have held down from 550 is a HODL with a cushion. I've been trying to get out on strength but I'm not getting it. Sure it's a HODL but does not change the fact that it's red even on days when BTC and the market are green.
- DAN: @Henry $MSTR $NFLX Microstrategy's strategy is a bitcoin bank. The enterprise software core business model isn't working. Fundamentals look really ugly. Re/ Hastings -- I do recall saying he's an idiot...which sounds a bit like AOC calling Musk an idiot. Those are accusations made by...idiots. Hastings is a bazzilionaire, so he's obviously doing something right. Sometimes I use what I call "lazy language" to describe someone that I disagree with...thus establishing the fact that I can sometimes be an...idiot...myself. LOL
- RichardinME: @DAN $MSTR $NFLX Thanks for your input Dan. I know both you and Scott told us we should be out a long time ago. I was stubborn and closed my trading positions but decided that a HODL position was ok. Not only lost money but missed out on a lot of things that were working well at the time. My question for you is I know you have been long IBIT for some time and have done very well. I'm gradually getting rid if MSTR and buying IBIT but want something that is a bit more levered that would be suitable for a HODL position. I do believe BTC goes a lot higher but with a levered vehicle, the ETF could eventually go down just do to even if BTC goes up eventually.
- DAN: @RichardinME $MSTR $NFLX PRobably a better question for Scott than me. Not sure why you are gradually getting rid of MSTR unless you are just trying to prolong the pain a little at time. The way I look at trades is this: If I know I'm wrong, I'm wrong. I exit the trade so that I do not continue to be even more wrong...but with a smaller position. But that's just the way I think of things.
