Shares of Archer Aviation (NYSE:ACHR) tumbled 3.2% as the market reacted to a scathing report by short seller Culper Research, accusing the company of misleading investors about the progress and testing of its electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft, Midnight.

  • champ: @kenb $ACHR ....Nice post, Yes that's the new, latest News,.....and all of those heliports, with all of their helipads, is just starting, ....however need all of the #permits-first, before all of the construction can start, everything takes time...and #Entry-timings is still on-going now....because a year from Now, might be just too-late, to capture all of the #large-Profits..... .....Plus they are setting up in NY-City, with $UAL and also in the Middle-East. at the UAE, their Abu Dhabi Cruise Terminal, they are working on a heliport., plus at Saadlyat Island and also at the Corniche ...and they are working over their with Falcon Aviation.   • crackleback: @champ $ACHR Naive question but what is the advantage over a plain old helicopter? And cost wise what are you going to have to charge for a flight if an air-auto costs 3-5 mill?

  • champ: $ACHR...at $7.10.....this might be interesting, because the CEO of this Air-Taxi company is going to be on Fox Business, to talk about their Air-Taxi NY-City, Taxi Network, with United Airlines. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I just doubled my long-term investment position, because I thought that this was a good time to get fully back-in again, after I took profits around $11.50, in February.

It looks like they are not the first eVTOL's out there, China has beat them and got approval for the first fully approved eVTOL which is autonomous as well as no pilot is required.   • champ: @kenb $ACHR $JOBY ....The #News-flow remains strong and there is a lot of positive News, for example $JOBY said, on 1/3, hat they completed their training program with the U.S. Air Force and that's really positive. ....I got back-in both, on that last dip... and I'm still both long and short term, with a #Core-position and also Trading-positions, as long as I keep making profits, however I'm not in any hurry.....because these are nice #parking-positions.

I don’t get the application for the military nor a public/private application that is economically feasible.Batteries don’t last long enough .
