- champ: @sierramp $ARCB...I didn't see that, and I have been trading this Trucker ever since $YELL went under.../because they are picking-up $YELL customers, don't really know how many.........but on 8/28, they/ $ARCB....updated their average #daily shipments, of appx 20,000 shipment per day, so far in the month of August, per thats date ....to 19,500 per-day in July....so their business is picking-up......... ......and that could be the #reason Why, that there was that #Buy. LOL

- champ: @sierramp $ARCB $YELL #daily #reason #Buy ....$YELL was a great Trucker but they opened-up, a few other Trucking divisions, with bad-timing and that took them under, they got greedy, Bad risk-management, stupid management..... and we see that happen everyday.....and in their type of Business..... ......they can't have a Stop at Entry, like we can..... and the simple fact was, they didn't have the #Cash-flow, to add on New Trucking divisions. Thats my Thoughts on what happened, on what $YELL did wrong...FWIW.

- Lou: @champ $ARCB $YELL - the fact remins that $ARCB is subject to the same #union pressure as the one that fell $YELL. True, $ACB doesn't have the same debt structure, but I prefer companies with lesser labor issues. I also wouldn't invest in any colleges or school districts (:-).
- debeers: $ARCB- @Lou ordinarily i'd agree with you all day long, Lou BUT $ARCB finalized their union agreement 7/1 a full 2 months ago, buddy. NP in it now but they have a very supportive culture there and many of their workers are son s of sons who work there or who did.

- champ: @debeers $ARCB...Yes...Exactly...plus on 8/28 they were Recognized by #Forbes as one of the Top companies for Employees in the U.S.....and they don't have any Union money problems and they have huge Cash-flow after paying all of their on going expenses.

- champ: @woodman $ARCB #Forbes....However the simple fact is, some Truckers like $ARCB, have #No-problems paying their Union dues. Good research with nice Entry-timing = nice Profits.
- Lou: @champ $ARCB #Forbes #No-problems - I've looked at the union pension issues (not an issue with dues) and, while currently under control, the company could be subject to liability for significantly underfunded union retirement plans. This was the principal cause of YELL's demise. $ARCB did shift a lot of future of the pension obligations to 401Ks but much potential unfunded exposure remains towards retirements of union employees. That said, all of this seems currently under control and we're traders here not investors who buy and hold forever. I see your trading thesis @champ @debeers et al. Nonetheless, I'm still staying away. There are tons of other companies out there.

$QLD - Basis: 46.45 S ... - woodman: $ARCB - keep an eye on this. It reported 7/29 moved just above the 200d resistance but fell back just a tad under it and is consolidating on the 8dEMA just below. Can see this in another way on the weekly where it's holding the 50w as support (prior resistance). No position currently but interested.

Outstanding and still can go up way futher as others in its class are still to report but Judy's commitment to trucker safety, training and siupport of their union paid off.LONG- The fact they are based in Arkansas didn't hurt one bit. For those who don't know $ARCB already has Cali ops with electric trucks. Short form: YOWZA Call at 6:30 my time. @ENG-trader--40% of Matador's revenue comes from natural gas and that price isn't going down anytime soon that i can see.
