- Henry: @Henry $MRNA $ARCT The later reported this am, better than expected, but losing $. They are working on a 3rd stage trial for a single dose covid vax. A TOS new hit at 07:55 am with the title Arcturus Soars, but there was no content in the article about ARCT, at that moment MRNA started to fall

- Margi1983: @jpoko13 $ARCT @Dan@scottrades Talk about a bad trade being made good. I had a limit buy at 54.80 for $ARCT that hit on 12/29/20, the day it crashed from 100 to 40. I felt like an idiot as I was down $14 a share the first minute I owned it. But it was a smallish position so I broke discipline ( sorry @ Dan) and held it "hoping" I could reduce my loss after 2-3 days. ( Another broken promise not to hope?). Now six days later it is up 35% today and I look like a genius. But I am not. This is a great example of bad limit buy trade that worked out. It was a bet on "red" at the casino of biotech that eventually hit and I do not gamble. Long with a stop at 60

Then buy as it goes up "hoping" it will break the high from the day it fell and then off to the races to fill the gap. One of my favorite side trades I like to do. I'm no genius either but anyone can make that trade!

(ARCT - $48.81 to $43.60) after the biopharmaceutical company reported lackluster study data from its COVID-19 vaccine (ARCT-021) last night after the market close. Baird analyst Madhu Kumar called the data “underwhelming” and lowered his rating to “Neutral” from “Outperform” with a price target cut to $69.00 from $79.00. H.C. Wainwright dropped their rating to “Neutral” from “Buy” and put a $50.00 price target on the stock following the results. Calls are outnumbering puts roughly 4:1 with the January 15th 2021 55.00 call being the most actively traded contract (volume is 3,694)." Stock currently trading @ $41.94 - Thankfully, NP... yet

I am going to be spending time to see if there is a better risk/reward profile to trade/invests in biotech down the road.

- joelsg1: @rholden $ARCT This is the Covid vaccine company Cathy Wood likes, self-replicating messenger rna, so like $MRNA and $PFE but only need one shot and at a much lower dose than those others, with much longer protection, perhaps lifetime. Completing Phase 2 now, so probably needs this money for Phase 3, although they may partner up. They also have other drug candidates based on their technology.Watch this one, though it has already moved big.
